Sorry but the Battle of Endor (in RotJ) took place in 4 ABY, so at the very least, TFA took place 34 years after the climax of A New Hope. Assume those plans for the first Death Star were stolen not long before the Battle of Yavin, and you get 34-35 years for Rogue One.

This looks rad. Mads Mikkelsen and Alan Tudyk are in this too. We’re kind of living in a “fun Disney movie” renaissance right now with how good TFA was, and the recent slate of Marvel/Avengers type movies.
