“I find the fact that Tesla is buying Honda Civics to teardown for investigation hilarious.”
Competitive analysis is nothing new and it isn’t necessarily a sign of incompetence on behalf of the one doing the teardown. Automakers have been doing teardowns of competitors’ cars for decades. I would not be surprised if Hyundai, Toyota and VW were also tearing down Civics, and Honda was tearing down Corollas and…
Hard disagree. When something is objectively harming EVERYONE ON THE PLANET, you’re goddamned right I’m going to tell them to fucking stop.
Come for the onboard rollercoaster, methane emissions, ten thousand people on a ship and the overpriced open bar, stay for the norovirus and covid outbreaks!
When I was a kid, my dad had a set of chains in the trunk. I only remember him putting them on once and it was a royal pain in the butt. So, I figure chains are stupid.
Dedicating a team of engineers to “rotary development” is a marketing exercise.
Oh I was pretending to be insane.
He said 250,000 miles, not feet.
ICE-to-EV is the largest “platform migration” consumers are ever going to have to face. As much as it’s a cliche, it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

She’s a former oil lobbyist who does nothing but slurp Suncorl/CNRL tailings.
I would have been shocked if she didn’t say something like that. She needs to keep the oil-producing province happy.
I’m fine with this. It’s in-line with many other countries. EV’s have come pretty fucking far in the last 12 years and this deadline is still another 12 years away, and it includes some hybrid/PHEV loopholes.
Good luck with what? by 2035 but manufactures are near fully going to be producing only EVs as it is. This mandate is largely hollow s it is just following the market avalibilty.
Thus why this includes PHEVs and doesn’t solely mandate EVs or bust.
they seperated and there is a restraining order there is no logistical way to share the vehicle without a third party involved to bring the vehicle back and forth between them. Just sounds like the divorce attorney’s dropped the ball on settling the assets or there could be no attorney involved and the two parties…
Did she ever file for divorce?
