Are you offended because you think that one day you can buy one of these... ??

Sorry but the allroad is hardly a performance wagon and the lift kind of ruin the idea of having a sleek station wagon. And sadly, it is very boring to drive, I know I test drove it as I wanted to buy it initially.

Well, I experienced a Ford Mondeo (called fusion I think in the US), first year model was plagued with issues, the same 4 years production later had absolutely no issue whatsoever, very reliable. A colleague had a brand new Honda CRV, first year model, went to the dealership countless of times (for small things mind

It is a refreshed model just a few months old. You would be surprised the number of new parts and tooling involved.

I have one strict rule, whatever the brand. I never buy a brand new model (or a refresh model) in its first year. Too many headaches. True for any brand (not defending Tesla here btw).

Or the Escalade should be classified in the full-size van category, not in the car category. Just a matter of perspective...

And yet, probably one of the best sport car that money can buy in its days and still today. I grew up across the pond, and one of these will be in my garage one day, imported from the UK/France as they are sooo much cheaper over there. Pick the one with the Toyota engine (after 2004) and you are good to go for ever.

Did the track has a fast charger level 3 on site ?

These cars are dual clutch equipped. I would not be surprised this guy was pushing first gear or something like that to be heard and seen. Supercars are pretty quiet these days when you drive them at normal speed. But hey he has money so law does not apply to him...

Truth is Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche are quite quiet driven normally at 2,000rpm, but then, I would not be surprised that this guy got caught pushing the rpm just to be seen in Manhattan. Just put it in auto mode, and it will stay quiet.

It is probably very good but a 645hp EV is absurd on the street for the same of this car. I do drive an EV with half the power, the instant torque of these things is mind blowing, this is going to put a lot of people in trouble (it already started). 645hp ICE and 645hp EV are definitely not equal. I used to drive Golf

If a person buy a $75K car and do not have a house, I would say that maybe, just maybe this person priority with money might not be the right one. Not trying to be condescending here but logical about building wealth for the future.

Still you are going to have to drive a lot of miles to break even

But then if you can afford an EQE, installing a Level 2 charger at home should be the last of your concern.

yes but then I cannot show off to my neighbors so what’s the point ? sarcasm intended...

But then a 300 or 350 mile battery range will not work for you either if you do not have a level 2 on a regular basis.

So expensive for what is, let’s face it, a mini-van.

No different than if you live in a downtown city though. I can do most of what I need by walking or cycling but then if I need to go for a big grocery shopping for the family, I take my car for a 5 min drive. But then again, I can walk to the park, lake front, to the local swimming pool, most restaurants and bar,

Pff, this is going to do nothing and alienate Andretti even more to the F1 world. But hey someone is crying loud enough in the room so they have to do something about it. I am not a US citizen so I don’t care but someone is going to have to pay for this and this is not my taxes....

Honestly, I feel sorry for young kids these days. Who did not do stupid (and fun) things in our younger age? Now, everything is filmed. Think about much trouble we would get for stupid things we did in the past. I mean, I used to take my company car after a snow fall on an empty parking lot and do handbrake and donuts
