It works differently in Canada. We negotiated first the price and all details and finally we went for approval. So everything was done before lease approval by VW. You pass or not.

Exactly, I actually “made” some money on my last trade by not telling them. I was owning $12K and they appraised $16K. I was using my bank for my loan and there were no way for them to find out.

Fair enough but we are talking Gti here. 2 levels with just one button (depending on how long you press), TC Off, ESp sport. The R comes with a 3rd level, everything off

we do not know yet if the US/Canada version will have handbrake or not. The current mk7 in Europe has no handbrake either to my knowledge.

I agree that modern 200hp are easy to ride but part of the fun with a less powerful motorcycle is also to be able to push it to the limit. There are not many places on the street (to say none) where you can push a S1000R to the limit. Even a Z900 will get you in trouble. Read more
