It seems they’ve completely retconned Spock mentioning in Space Seed that Khan rose to power and then he Botany Bay was launched in the 1990s. It’s extremely funny to think about how in the episode of Voyager where they go back to the 90s and meet Sarah Silverman and Ed Begley Jr is the villain that just off screen…
It’s been revived 2 total times. Not really that many.
Death by Snu-Snu!!
How many times has this show been revived?
I watched an episode last week with the Amazonian women and I was just laughing through the entire episode. It had to be one of the funniest episodes made, if you’re a guy which I am.
The trailer seems really “topical”. Pandemic, crypto, meta jokes about streaming platforms. I don’t remember original Futurama being very topical, but the reboot did it more like with the iPhones.
Curious what direction the writing will take, similar to comedy central, or fox network days, or something completely different
free speech according to right wing shitbags like lonny over here is entirely different from free speech how it’s actually defined.
It got off to a slow start for me - Dal was spectacularly annoying but as the series went on it was clear that this to give him a place to develop from, and he grew as a character over time. It’s been the biggest pleasant surprise of the current-era Trek shows for me.
Damn. I know it’s a kid show and I’m 40-something, but Prodigy was really starting to grow on me.
Basically how I thought they were going to handle it in R&M
I think you may be underestimating the resolve of bored, inconvenienced people on the internet.
I’ve told people who complain about Cats being a bad musical that it’s a poem turned into a musical stage play. Honestly I think it helps to think of it that way. Personally, I enjoy Cats. I even kind of enjoyed the weird movie version for its ridiculousness. :D
Yes please!
yep, give me parody remakes or give me remakes of bad and/or cult movies that have a good core and deserve a second chance. Give me a live action treasure planet, a remake of Atlantis. don’t give me a live action lilo and stitch. the original was already perfect and I don’t see any way to improve it.
Hell if they just…
Disney keeps doing pointless live-action remakes of their animated catalog when they have they have the Muppets just sitting there. They could be doing Muppet remakes of both animated and live action films - Muppet Snow White, Muppet Pirates of the Caribbean, Muppet Beauty & The Beast...
I think you misunderstand:
On the bright side, Metropolis is now in the public domain, so anyone can make their own version!
