$100 says you’ll see more Russian ads for Republicans than anything.

The best thing that anyone can do is leave the platform. Let them spend money in ads for themselves. (I quit when they let Trump back).
$20 says you’ll see 10x more republican ads then democrat ones.
Uggh... yet another reason to ditch X/Twitter. Does Threads allow political ads?
I never watched Rebels, but I feel like the droids are done really well. But can anyone tell me why these two (Huyang and Chopper) have names, rather than alphanumeric identifiers? I can’t think of another droid in the SW universe that has an actual name.
When I discuss things with Libertarians every line of questions that ask how things will ultimately be controlled and maintained lead right back to the general description of a government.
Let’s hope they don’t forget the inexhaustible labor force of robots this time.
I thought IG-11 was done pretty well. I like Chopper so far, I’m not holding out hope that we see him wheeling around on his single forward leg like in Rebels though. Huyang isnt doing it for me so far, it feels like David Tennant’s voice is just being laid over a scene when he’s talking. Same for that protocol droid…
This new season has been okay, but it feels a bit too reliant on old in-jokes and references and stuff. Seems like every episode has a strong callback element to it instead of creating new stuff, which I guess could be the fun of it being in the same “universe” and all but it feels a bit too “safe” for me.
At one point he does have Paul saying, “Hey guys, tell me the truth: am I Space Hitler or what?”
no problem. if theyre gonna make a article about a web page they could have at least screenshotted it. or at least more of it so it made sense so we could tell what exactly they were writing about
Thank you! I really didnt want to have to go look that up!
since y’all didnt want to include an actual screenshot that makes sense...
I vote Tom Waits as the new Rick.
That’s because you’re describing Joseph Campbell’s “hero’s journey,” one of those influences that is core to the George Lucas brand. Master and Apprentice on a quest. Apprentice loses Master at a critical moment and is forced to finish the quest themselves.
Lucasfilm’s problem is that they fail to consistently grasp…
The other thing they’re obsessed with? Taking a youngling of some sort somewhere else. The Mandalorian is obvious. But after the Mandalorian, Obi-Wan felt repetitive. But you can see elements of that same story in The Phantom Menace and A New Hope.
Beware the orange!
Yeah, it’s been inessential for a while now, and I’m not even sure if I finished the last season yet, but it’s still got a lot of great stuff in it. Just the same, I’ll be happy if they manage a halfway decent sendoff.
I know it has not been the same amazing show for a few years, but it is still sad to see this being Archer’s final season. It was still a solidly good show that could occasionally remind you what it once was.
