Heh, if we go outside the aforementioned 15 years ... my car before that was a CPO E46 328i ... with manual transmission. Bought at Vegas BMW in 2003. It was a 200, I think. 

I’ve bought two cars in the last 15 years and they were both from Carmax.

Yeah actually, we’ll be spending Christmas as we always do - enjoying a week off work, watching movies, eating lots of delicious food and getting drunk.

Some day the mountain might get ‘em but the law never will ... 

As for people claiming it’s just the “reds” that are leaving, no it’s not. Has nothing to do with politics, just the simple fact that there are significant pros to leaving California (just like there are cons to doing so).

From a financial well-being perspective, California is one of the worst places

Buddy of mine is still driving his Jeep Cherokee from like ‘94. God knows how many miles are on that thing. 

It’d make a rad beer can label though. 

Accidents aren’t always avoidable. You can be the most vigilant driver in the world and another incompetent person can absolutely ruin your day.
