I would bet my paycheck that if the Pilot TrailSport and the Cavalier are both equipped as they came from the factory, and had drivers of equal offroading experience, that Honda will get significantly further down the trail than the Chevy, especially if it’s a slippery trail.

People arent leasing right now because the manufacturers have completely stopped subventing lease rates and residuals.

Where would people get this idea???

I don’t have an EV, but there’s a cost associated with maintaining the automobile gas infrastructure and transporting physically heavy non-reusable gas. Electric motors are 85+% efficient, consumer gasoline engines are at best 40%. So for you to use your 16 gallons of gas, more energy is burned refining it, moving it

He had a car...I guess he needed more bids.

“annoying knob”

Call for price is almost ALWAYS a bad sign.  They don’t want to post what they are actually asking for the car, in an attempt to get someone in the door who would have walked away because of some stupid markup.  Also they only mark it up because morons like the guy in the article are willing to pay it.

“Call for Price”  No way that is going for MSRP.

I’m ok with this direction.  Very few people go to the track and very few people have the skills to drive a track focused car on the street.  A softer more forgiving street car that can still thump others in a stop light drag when called out is a better match for most drivers.

It is stunning to me how stupid many (most?) FB marketplace sellers are. Clean out the garbage, and hide the bottle of anti-freeze in the back seat. Some people just aren’t very smart.

Not to mention that any Toyota AWD-i vehicle is NA engine with electric AWD. My ‘07 Highlander Hybrid is set up as such.

A car with a filthy interior.

Smokers cars. If you smoked in your car go ahead and cut the KBB value in half then subtract another $2k.
And yes, ever person who doesn’t smoke can tell your car still smells like cigarettes over the smell of 100x little trees black ice air fresheners.

I think that’s incredibly naïve at best, and disingenuous at worst.

Jimny Evo? Pump it up to 200 hp?

I want it so much.  I already have 2 off-road vehicles but i sure would love to drive around something so willfully cheery...and something where the parts are about 1/3rd the price of the big ones.

Mitsubishi should team up and revive this beast:

Every time there is a new high tech system to replace an older, fully developed one, there is a huge cost over run, a lot of accidents and a general feeling that “good grief, we have spent a fortune to get something that isn’t that much better than what we already have and it doesn’t work right.”

Driving a tiny Suzuki Jimny called “Little D” is like the complete antithesis of the bro-dozer and I’m here for it. Sign me up.

I would love a little Jimny. Not these, but one.
