Every time I’ve stepped into a Stellantis dealership that’s offering a ton of money in rebates and incentives, they’re incredibly specific and amazingly never apply to me.

It’s not a scam at all. The scam is that here in the US, the car makers decided to push big expensive EV SUV’s instead of cheaper small compact EV’s. Elsewhere in the world- like in China- small EV’s dominate.
The reason to turn on Airplane Mode is because your phone will continuously search for a signal while in the air and drain your battery.
This could also be a flipper that has one secured.
Even a non-marked up Blazer EV is too expensive.
Dollar to power ratio is pretty terrible. This looks like an unmitigated dud to me. I am sure they will sell some due to it being a Honda, but yeesh.
“Hey boss, you should see how cheap we snagged this nearly-new car at auction!”
- The new guy.
I live in the Oklahoma City area. I would love to know where in the state this person lives so that I (and my own Jag, a 1996 XJ12) can stay well clear of her.
Better question - when you buy a new car, they typically fill it with fuel before they hand it over to you. How... is this dealer gonna do that?
They pissed off someone at corporate so they got an albatross hung around their neck.
It’s hard enough to get people to want electric cars because of the (perceived) lack of places to charge them up, even though you can do so at home with a standard cord if need be; why does Toyota think anyone is going to want to buy something that you almost literally can’t find a place to refill it?
A lot of commercial uses for pickups would be better with a smaller cab, but they crash as well as an extended cab. As you bash out the rear window with your head...
How many trees have they planted? How many hydroelectric dams have they put in? How many “investments” have they secured for “cheaper” wind turbine manufacturing?
Cause carbon offsets are bullshit?
This is like the “ten second car” Brian O’Connor rolled into Dom Toretto’s shop to replace the one he wrecked.
I like having multiple cameras. I own no other camera nor do I want to lug one around all the time. I prefer the do-it-all approach even if it means the phone will be larger and not as good as a dedicated shooter. I suspect many will be in the same camp
+1 Anyone who is advocating hydrogen fuel cells over EV is either an industry shill or completely uninformed.
As much as I hate that most American trucks are used as sedans, the single cab thing, doesn’t make a truck workier. An extra or double cab allows for secure tool storage, and allows quick crew movement between sites. Back in the 80s we were required to haul more material, but material delivery is more common and…
Plus, that $38k in Uber fees were never his to start with? Doesn’t Uber collect everything, and then pay him out what he is owed? Attributing that $38k in fees as if it were his income, seems a bit silly from a book keeping perspective. Seems like the article should really say that the Uber driver generated $103k in…
I use to think that, but you can haul plenty in a crew cab with a smaller bed with the tail gate down. More than most people actually will do.
