I love it, but I can’t get past the clutch-based transfer-case. I understand these modern trucks have systems in place to prevent damage, but losing 4wd in the middle of a difficult obstacle is annoying at best, unsafe at worst.

That’s nice and all but 99% of Prius cat thefts are from 05-09 models. They have 3x the precious metals of an average cat and are the number 1 target for catalytic converter thieves. I work at both a police dept and a Toyota dealer just outside NYC and we have had hundreds of 2nd gen prius thefts. I can’t recall too…

Totally agreed. When I saw the $30k price, I thought ok, that probably is still acceptable. But with the real price at $70k+, no way people even bother.
