Well said. I could not agree more.

And they would be fantastic without the fuel flow limit. The turbo era was awesome because of the ridiculous power figures. The turbos in the 80s weren't there because the FIA wanted to say they're being green. That's the only reason they're here now.

I see an LFA on a regular basis in College Station, TX. It's by far the most expensive car I've seen on the road. This doesn't really add or take away anything from this article, but it blew my mind the first time I saw it. If someone were to spend $400k on a car, the LFA would be one of the last that I'd expect. Mind

250 HP in a 2800 lbs car is not slow. It has plenty of torque. You don't need a mountain of torque unless you just want to spin your tires. Also, the 13B-REW is exceptionally smooth.

I'll agree that it's not particularly reliable in it's stock form, but it is absolutely fantastic to drive.

It's the color of cheap, tacky, sunglasses lenses.

I concur with this list.

One of my favorites as well. I don't feel like this car gets the attention it deserved. It beat the friggan Quattro in Group B for crying out loud.

To be fair, the Renesis was pretty solid after MY2009. It was a little late, but yeah.

Also, I have to emphasize that the community around these cars really is fantastic.

Yup.

Yup.

The Pro is MLC. The EVO is TLC.

I cannot describe how jealous I am.

Certainly and Ferrari engine could be just as good by then, but it is unlikely. My point was that no matter how you look at it, choosing an engine other than Mercedes is not a good decision.

Sure, the cars can be significantly different, but it's very unlikely that the engines will be. They don't make changes to the engine regulations every year. Even before this year, the Mercedes engine was the one to have and they already have a huge head start over Ferrari and Renault.

I agree about the C2, but the prettiest C2 was the '63.

I've heard this a lot, but I haven't ever seen a decent example.

AWD because batteries ruin handling.

I'm half joking.

It's great to see that there's another running 13B-REW FD out there. It's been my dream car since I was about nine years old and I just bought one about a year ago.

Yeah, I stopped reading when I read that. LED and LCD aren't even in the same category. LED TVs are LCD.

I like some aftermarket aero (FEED comes to mind), but Vielside is bad.

Yup.

There were a few iterations of the "fan car", but the 2J was the original.
