Since I’m a college adjunct, when I’m being paid my full rate, it’s still not a living wage. There is no insurance and there are no retirement benefits.

This semester, I subbed two maternity leaves and was paid for one. Since this is the second or third time they’ve managed to make me agree on a rate and then changed

$160k isn’t that much money to work around the clock. If they work like 3000 hours a year, that’s like $50 an hour. Which, although not terrible, requires a huge skill set, and possibly taking a bullet for someone, etc.

If your boss kept begging you to work extra hours, saying you were desperately needed, and you did so, and then s/he told you in June that they’d paid you more than enough to live on for the year and you’d be required to continue working, unpaid, for the next 7 months, I think you’d have a hard time NOT getting upset

The arbitrary-rules thing drives me batty as well. My kids attend a suburban school district with a large minority population. The prevailing wisdom of the school administration has been to “keep those kids in check” by handing out suspensions and bringing in the cops for fairly minor things. One scuffle in the school

hahahahahaha....look you guys, it’s “guy who doesn’t get how the school system works” guy.

He also pulled the other kid of red hoodie.

Before you start calling a human being “scum” maybe you should look at how much power a teacher has in this situation. Then proceed to vote for people who actually understand how education works.

I feel like you don’t get that this is real. It’s not rare or unexpected in many schools. Kids are dumb (regardless of socio-economic background). I have seen what happened here more times than I have fingers...

I’m up late googling good teen action and I get this shit?

He’s a good teen

Vigilante teen is a strong black principled teen, and we’ve all seen this movie before.

Yeah, totally. I mean, our computer overlords made the rules and enforce the rules. We peasant humans can use rational thought but that has no place once judgement comes forth.

Idk how you guys do it. Teens can be bad as hell.

Bad(ass) teen. Teacher is fine, doesn’t even appear phased by any of this, and he’s likely to get the most punishment of the three students. He ended a harmless brawl by ko-ing one kid and throwing another onto his back. He doesn’t deserve the shit that’s about to rain down on him, but there’s nothing anyone can do

Vigilante teen is a good teen.

ya

I assume they’re trying to spend as much of the campaign money as they can until the well runs dry.

I agree, I sometimes have these thoughts like well fine, I hope he does win so everything he tries to do is a complete failure when it comes up against REALITY and the people who voted for him can see what they wrought. not that I have any faith in that.

I think Trump’s megalomania and narcissism are the roots of his evil, not necessarily stupidity. He fully believes that whatever he says is the truth because he can not possibly be wrong. That’s also why he will never fully accept losing the election without claiming that somebody else was the reason for it.

You’re just trying to divert from the fact that everyone said he won the debate including every poll and online poll and ISIS and you’re the puppet!
