it was horrible, but i loved it. it was kind of a waste of T.Hanks’s talent. But that’s part of what made it funny.

The fact that they haven’t moved on a Black Widow solo movie in the 7 years that the character has been in Marvel films tells it all.

Or Lucy, a movie starring Scarlett Johannsen as a superhero-type character.

While I may not be the biggest fan of all the Marvel movies (some were quite good while others didn’t do all that much for me), you’ve hit the nail on the proverbial head, Mr. Narcisse.

Yeah, Marvel had multiple chances at doing a decent Black Widow movie and lost it to both Atomic Blonde and now Red Sparrow. But remember, according to Marvel, female led action movies just aren’t profitable. I’m mean just look at Wonder Woman. [/sarcasm] 

...but now those ingredients will have the whiff of deja vu around them.

Charlize Theron in her Atomic Blonde wardrobe shows up in the end credits, so starts the Red Sparrow-verse.
