Yes, but they already made those movies IN the 60s. With the most beloved Bond there ever was. Time to move Bond forward--not back.

100% agree. And I feel like the rumored approach would be another excuse to cast yet another white dude.
I’ve not heard the term “field test” in relation to tabletop games or RPGs before. What’s the difference between that and playtesting?
It’s already funded with 42 days to go. Plenty of time to rack up the other unlocks.
Not enough stars for this comment!
The Haslab Falcon was $400 and this big boi uses a LOT more plastic.
“Activation” is a term straight out of marketing. It’s replaced “engagement” which is often seen as passive.
That Ahsoka hoodie is NOT on their website. Just tried to get one for my daughter. No where to be seen.
“Spies” as in plural. As in Elias and The Armorer. The latter high-tailed it off world as soon as the main group went dungeon delving. She’s a traitor who’s been leading them to their doom the entire time!
Isn’t the blaster that Cassian uses basically Kyle Katarn’s same model?
Is it “Gods of War” or Gods of Mars”?
Came here to say this. The toys are even still on shelves at Target!
Nolan’s is still my favorite, for many of the same reasons you suggest (self blame being the strongest—most interesting motivator). The Snyder one was SO SCHMALZY. I can’t even take it seriously. He’s overuses slo-mo in all his films to give it the veneer of gravitas it almost never deserves.
The show, overall, had some really great moments: time with the Tuskens, stealing his ship back, a rancor running amok in Mos Espa. But the excitement when the title was first revealed at the end of S2 of The Mandalorian was THROUGH. THE. ROOF.
And it was just totally, clumsily, slowly squandered.
I felt like the first…
I believe it was Ingwë, the High King of the Vanyarin Elves, who said “Im did ha an i moneui!”
I still don’t know how the ST managed to squander the story potential of a Stormtrooper defector.
Great recap! And I too think letting the wookiee live will benefit Boba. I was also thinking of the sea dragon in the holiday special when he said he’s ridden larger beasts!
You thought the wookiee squeezing the shiznit out of Temura Morrison and throwing two Gamoreans down the f’n stairs was “slow and awkward”?
Ok.
Thank you, Charles, for your hard work and keen insights on race and genre. I will miss reading you here. Hope to find you still writing afterwards, as well. Take care and all the best.
Also true.
