The elitism of the comments astound me. Having a checking account is a privilege that many people cannot obtain for reasons of nationality, class, ability and other statuses. Helpful suggestions are just that helpful. But geez, advice to quit or 'just get a checking account' make you sound oblivious at best.

Feedly does have a mark older than a day or week as read option. You either need to be on the 'all feeds' screen or in one of your folders - not the 'Today' screen' - and click on the settings cog in the top right. The options are on that drop-down menu.
