I ran a Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy game where the players could choose GotGs or Avengers. The game was entirely in space. One guy chose Thor (good choice!)...the other chose Hawkeye!

At least he admitted he like Star Wars better than Star Trek! TBH though, he is excellent at casting, and I like the Trek films for that at least.
