Ok but you’re presenting a false dilemma by exploiting colloquial use of the phrase “emission free.” I could argue that an “emission free vehicle” is technically emission free because the emissions are generated by production of the fuel. But I’d be ignoring the fact that I could produce electricity in an

Counterpoint: Miatas are low volume and have less vehicles to spread development costs across on their unique platform. Mazda is not exactly swimming in cash. Miatas have no direct competition in the small RWD convertible department.

If only renewable power sources existed.  Can you look into that for us?

Wow. Why does this upset you so?

Hey honey, remember that time last year I had to go to Lowe’s to get a bag of dirt for the plants on the balcony? Well it’s truck month and I can get a great deal on an F-250 right now.

My experience has been that frontal area of a trailer is what really impacts your fuel economy. Weight impacts your acceleration and braking, and length impacts your maneuverability. But frontal area (aka, drag) is what impacts you for the big parts in the middle.

I don’t know that it’s really the weight that’s as much of an issue as it is the tremendously increased drag.  I don’t think our truck cares much whether the trailer is empty or full, it’s more about pulling a parachute behind you at 70 mph that seems to be it’s problem.  Weight does factor into it, but once you’re

“But if battery technology keeps improving at the current pace, then yes, absolutely there will be a role for ICE-powered vehicles in 100 years.”

In the last 10 years of electric cars the energy density (specific energy is the better term) has improved dramatically. Like 30-50% improvement.

So uh yeah, if you

I know you’re an Elonian or Muskie or whatever, but you’d have to be a moron to think that Musk’s “submarine” would have helped. If you don’t understand why, then you haven’t done even the most rudimentary research on the situation. They could barely fit humans through that cave.

Unsworth’s “insult” was that Musks idea was stupid - and he then explained why that submarine idea would never work.

‘shove it up your ***’ is just an expression of anger

The difference is that Unsworths insult was really just factual.  The submarine idea was ridiculously stupid.

An insult and insinuating that someone is guilty of one of the worst things a human can do, aren't in the same ballpark.

Ahh, the ‘He started it!’ argument. Brilliant.

While all the V8 fanboys have been whining about the Mach-E, people with lives outside of the internet have been making reservations. The “First Edition” is already sold out.

Here’s your daily reminder that cutting animal products from your diet is the single biggest way to reduce your environmental impact on earth”, especially when you consider that it doesn’t cost anything extra (like solar panels or a new car). Of course we need governments to start doing something but in a capitalist

I don’t know, but the Venn diagram of “not a real Mustang” people and “PC culture is ruining everything” people is a perfect circle.

I thought for sure it was a troll... and they were going to bring out the “real one”.... I’m literally shocked at how bad this is.

Rivan stock up 1000%

It is about time to shift my Elio reservation to something else.
