That appears to be an Alaska license plate. Being from Alaska mmyself can tell you this vehicle has seen some shiz in its life. Also road salt. Lots and lots of road salt.

WHERE IS CAPTAIN SLOW!!!  Came here for Mister Slowly, left very disappointed.

AMC Eagle Station wagon. Weird, can hold stuff, reliable(certain parts) can off road and camp.

DMV resident checking in. We had snow this am which turned to slush, then rain. I waited at home till about noon then decided to venture out to get some work done. As I sat at an intersection pondering if I should be on the roads a fire engine running code performed an admirable rendition of swan lake right through

I live in the DMV.  I can't even begin to tell you how having Amazon in Crystal City is going to effect traffic.  Soooo glad I don't go that direction.  My theory is as Amazon continues their advance with AWS they want to take over govt contracts. No better place for them to be.  They already taken over many services

$163.21? Damn that's cheap!!  I had a vehicle towed in Richmond VA once, it was only gone for 2 hours and it cost me $358.60 to get it back.

Duuuuude my absolute favorite body style evar.  Ioved the early Bigfoot with square headlights as a kid.

My uncle had one of these when I was little, called it flossie.  Many good memories of that truck. Loud as hell, cold in winter and uncomfortable.  But man it exuded truckiness. Other trucks would see it coming and get out the way.

Oh man I forgot all about these! My buddy and his brother had one when I was growing up.  We had more near death experiences than I can count with this marvelous piece of engineering.  Such memories. Much fun.

When I first saw the gif I thought the Lambo was on fire and I thought to myself well, that's pretty dramatic.

My buddy's brother drove one of these in high school, but his was a bit longer.  Was in pretty good shape.  If I recall correctly, it was very cold during Alaska winters, and loud as hell due to lack of sound deadening. Actually, due to pretty much lack of anything resembling creature comforts.

Man you aren’t even kidding. When I was stationed in Japan I picked up an R33 for $5k. Imagine my surprise when I got back stateside and I couldn’t even own one here let alone afford to import one.

I’m past the halfway point of ownership. Guess I should start looking to trade it in.....nah ima drive this thing till the wheels fall off.  With soon to be college aged kids I'd rather not have a monthly car payment on top of college expenses.

Thanks for posting a pic of that.  Doesn't look half bad but $40k is a hard sell, even to people with too much money on their hands.

First car I owned, a 1984 AMC Eagle wagon I was given because I was able to repair it for the owner.  A bit later he purchased a new car and gave me the eagle as payment.   Miss that car

This is unBEARable.  Did I do it right?

Love me a long roof. I’ll help Buick out, they can give me one if they feel so inclined and I’ll drive it around to give it exposure.

That’s what she said.

Dude! Your mom drives a Viper!

You should get a vanity plate that says COTD
