I've had 808s for a few years now but decided to revisit it after listening to Pablo several times, and while it's grown on me a bit it's still my least favorite of his albums. I like that he tried something different and how emotional some of the songs are, but I don't particularly enjoy the Auto-Tune and electropop

Finished watching season 3 of Dexter. Could have done without "ghost Dad", but other than that I mostly enjoyed it. Found it a bit unconvincing how quickly Dexter and Miguel's friendship evolved, but I suppose it had to in order for everything to be wrapped up in twelve episodes. Will probably start season 4 tonight.

I really like Plastic Ono Band and Fly, though I'll admit to almost always skipping over the lengthier "soundscape" pieces on the latter. At the very least, for anyone into krautrock the grooves on "Why" and "Mind Train" are well worth checking out.

"Lornaderek" from the Aphex Twin album Drukqs is apparently an answering machine message of Richard D. James' parents singing and wishing him a Happy Birthday. His Mum asks if he's received their birthday card, which makes me picture him with that grin opening the card and doing other normal birthday stuff like

At least it's not another freaking acronym or abbreviation. Just got here a minute ago and I already had to google "OTP".

I can't say I am a big supporter of the raisin council.

So, you get a chance to talk to the Glenn Danzig, and you don't even ask him any hard-hitting questions about the things that hardcore fans have been dying to know for years. Obviously the man is known for more than making a guest appearance on a marginally popular TV show, so why not ask him important things, such as:

Here it is:

Cool song. That guitar loop is probably going to be stuck in my head all day now, but I don't think I'm going to mind at all.

Depending on how strong you'd like your Caesar to be, 4 to 6 ounces.

Bloody Caesar Recipe:

I suppose it's just semantics as the two words are used more or less interchangeably now, but through to the end of the 80's the music was generally referred to as "rap" whereas "hip hop" was used to describe the entire culture (DJing, b-boying, graffiti, etc.). I still use the term "rap music", though I remember

What do you know about music, hamster-penis?

Pretty sure that "the first double-album of new music in the history of hip-hop" was He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince back in 1988, though it may not count as the second LP was labelled as a "Bonus Scratch Album".

Hope that upvote holds you 'til Mardi Gras.

I got up to twenty and stopped counting. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I need to go reevaluate my life.

Was scanning the list to find out how many of those movies I've seen, and clicked on the Wikipedia article for Ed. Check it out (before it gets edited):

Overall I think it's a better album than Tidal (which I love). It has a stronger set of songs, plus fantastic production work and instrumentation courtesy of Jon Brion. I think a lot of people were put off by the ridiculous title (which I've since come around to thinking is awesome). I only just picked it up a few

Finished watching season 2 of Dexter. Fascinating show, I'm enjoying it immensely. From what I've heard here and elsewhere I'm under the impression that it starts to dip in quality at some point during the later seasons, though my parents (who, in a strange turn of events, actually recommended it to me) said they
