Yeah I don’t think an NA is going to cut it unless they go with something around 3L V6. Really it deserves a quick spool 4 cyl.

This thing screams cash repair job or similar Eastern Euro work around for clean Carfax.

I agree, it’s a piece that is part of this mans life and it shouldn’t be downplayed. At the sametime it shouldn’t be brought up as hypocrisy tied to the site on it’s inclusion in the title. The tone mentioning it is neutral. It’s simply stated as a record of what happened.

The family across the street was a Honda family where I grew up. The old man had a meticulous early 90’s Accord EX sedan black with gold pin stripes, that car was sharp. I don’t think it when anywhere but the dealer for servicing or cleaning/detailing. This reminds me much of it.

I guess it’s coming off the Ducatis for Phillip Island as well!

Not to mention all-in $30k Busa or ZX-14 turbo builds accelerate like Wile E Coyote strapped to ALL the Acme rockets

Most of my squad is still uninsured. Was a sunny day but only 5C/40F. The highway was brisk but street speeds were alright.

I wish a IX was in the cards but I’m to the North so they were never officially sold here. I have seen the odd grey import usdm pop up but always a fair amount of miles and $$$, they are very rare to see. There are currently 0 IX for sale across the country, and a handful of imported JDM VIII and older.

Around 2004-2005 I was active on a Porsche forum and so I’d see many posts about 944, delusions of grandeur considered a earlier base model in not great shape perhaps as a first car as I was getting my license soon... Anyways, I remember great examples of the 944 Turbo S around $20k US, so 15 years later I find it

IMO

This is what I like to hear!

For stand up work if you’re not wearing a respirator I’d suggest a full face-shield.

More or less shows the Jalop audience is into cars above all else...

*As 15min edit is done. I will note this guy [yammienoob] did survive as did the driver of the Cayman. Reminder to be safe on public roads

I’d rather bite the extra few grand and have it at 1/2 the mileage or less at CPO. Especially considering if it’s near eclipsing factory warranty mileage.

That’s true. Trucks are pretty solid though. Especially a diesel that can easily last 300-400k mi if taken care of half decently apart from the emissions stuff going junk. Same with the 350 rat motor.

There’s a sweet spot. For older vehicles, it means that it’s continously driven. Cars that have sat or not seen much use develop issues regarding to that state. They will develop rather abrupt failures. Runners may have worn out parts but most of the time it’s noticeable.
