This is exactly it.

A low powered electric motorbike could actually work. As long as it’s the right price (usually a tall order and doubtful considering the pedal pusher is $3.3k), and has enough marketing. If it’s maybe starts at $5k for the 11kW after rebate, it may make a case for itself in limited numbers but if were talking like $7k…
These work exceptionally well where I live. Placed on fast roads (mini hyw) or on blind corners. If you see it start flashing and can stop for the warning sign, then you won’t make the light (unless you’re on it, at ticket speeds).
As far as I’m aware the Chinese people would be made aware that they have low social credit or being blacklisted. I work with a guy who immigrated from mainland China 15 years ago, I’m interested in bringing this up with him as he would have a way better insight and deeper knowledge than these articles. He has stories…
I know for a fact that where I live excessive unpaid tickets regarding toll roads and public transportation can stop a persons drivers license renewal.
Even without a cap, winning with and EV would be a tall order.
I remember first hearing of Top Gear by a guy in the neatherlands I talked to on MSN after meeting on a car forum, this was 2005. He’d always sign off to go watch it.
See you have that ability where as a lot of people don’t know if they’re looking at the engine or transmission (it’s just the grey thing that makes noise). But it was discussed a few weeks ago this new and used debate. The advice in general is good. However it’s not specific advice. Everyone’s financial isn’t the same…
I had a well used 08 2500 Duramax SLE (one level up from a work truck) and had zero issues with ride quality. Unloaded it would shutter overlarger holes, and bounce a bit on dips/crests at speed . It rode extremely smooth though otherwise, the thing was ace when loaded up.
I’d go with a Civic Si Sedan. I don’t see anything else fitting the bill any better for manual, reliable, still fit 4 adults without dicking around with seats, 30mpg hwy, rather fun with lower mileage/year examples around $15k.
Same thought, “mid-size” i.e. last decades full-size.
It wouldn’t last long, even with an anchor like that. A few thousand mi something is going to break, my bet would be either a main bearing will wipe/spin or the crank itself will stress fracture somewhere and split (either internal or at the welds).
No, that one has been done very poorly.
In short: More or less.
Delica’s and other JDM use to be way more common in Vancouver about 10 years ago. They’ve sort of fallen off, lots of the importers have closed up their shops. Was neat to see quite a few various R32 imported and some oddball Figuro, Sera or Kei pickup.
Haha, the splice!!
That’s like with many motorsports. I have never followed NHRA Drag Racing on TV but when I was there in person; completely different experience. Worth the price of admission.
Depends on the vehicle. The Winnebago Turbo the other day was enjoyable, but a few go a bit off the end for my taste too.
It’s become a status thing. The same way the suits usually have a big German, city tradesman run pickups. They are actually very comfortable.
Let’s be honest the big 3 have turned pickups into luxury vehicles. And the Cummins is just the hotrod engine. No different than the S65AMG: Is a V12TT nessessary? No... but it’s damn impressive
