Probably able to apply a water repel agent for rain (Rain-X now has a product for plastics like a motorcycle visor), it should last enough time for races. I’m really not sure about fog as it’s still open to the environment. Likewise a double pane (air gap) can eliminate that. Such are available on paintball masks and

Will the poor children that are found be liberated and given a copy of Minecraft? I bet they’d rock at it!

This is mine:

HD entry level bikes get flat out murdered at the price point. I bought a brand new CB650F which costs exactly the same as the Street 750.

Oh man, if you walk in there not looking like the cliche HD owner, they won’t give you the time of day.

Lots of people have no problem ripping Dukes on the street but they tent to attract buyers that dabble and instigate hoolism. The Monster is going to be more ‘mature’.

KTM is positioning the Duke line to be near if not the top of the sporty naked. I mean their tag line is “Ready to Race”. The also come loaded with features and equipment at a decent price. The perverbial ‘chink in the armor’ comes at the cost of higher than usual service bulletins, higher service intervals, parts

It’s a beautiful bike but I wouldn’t see myself getting a monster because the insurance is based on engine size and they don’t fit well as well as the Ducati total cost of ownership. The 750-1150cc and +1150 bringing out big cost to play numbers.

This is true. However depends on the circumstance really and sentimental value.

I sort of looked into getting one for the bike.

The biggest problem was getting on the throttle too vigorously mid corner. Electric motors have a great amount of torque at low rpm, even a little throttle could overwhelm the tires. Judging by the brake lock-up before the corner Bloom is not progressive or delicate enough on the controls... Cornering is not about

Pretty par really. You want insane? The French Canadians do redneck well. “So much torque the chassis twisted coming off the line.”

Things happen when you are allowed to remove or modify the sound killers.

Deificar aka UFO aka F-52...

Bunch of second head jokes... This is what I correlated.

I have a few of those.

Yes, the FZ-07 (now MT-07) is quite a fun bike. I’ve never had a go but I’ve heard people say it felt small if one is +6’ and would just go 09. The Kawa Z series I haven’t seen one on the road TBH. I’ve only seen one review of the Z900 and FZ-09 and it came down to personal choice.

It wasn’t sticking to the ground very much because it was right around freezing. Just took it slow and upright on the turns, bombed about for 40min or so and found the weak link in the gloves that could be solved with thermal liners.

I took the stock brand new bike out when it was snowing to test my cold weather gear. I got a very confused look from a gentleman in a CRV.

This year seemed to catch out quite a few people, lot of front runners being lost to crashes or injuries spanning the categories. I really can’t remember seeing so many due to kickers, I’m not sure if it’s just better coverage, higher speeds/routing or what. It also seemed to be quite a range of technical driving on
