A boxy minivan would sell well.

Kia and Hyundai make some compelling vehicles, but every single owner that I know complains about the constant warnings and alerts. You CAN turn them off but they just turn themselves right back on when you leave the car. That’s a dealbreaker for me. Why can’t you just save my settings?

Can someone explain how having an NACS plug makes the Aptera outdated? Every automaker is switching to NACS. If anything, they were ahead of the curve on that.

I reserved one and you should too.

I think you meant you saw an R1S this morning?

But the TX is a boat on wheels with ample other places that are better suited for a wallet or a phone, like the built-in wireless phone charger for example.

So I can get a well equipped 2023 Lexus GX for less than a mid-tier 2024 land cruiser?

“Better” is subjective. The Mach-E is subjectively better looking to many people, has a nicer interior, better driving dynamics, a screen behind the steering wheel, and a better service network. Every single insurance quote I’ve gotten for the Mach E has been substantially lower than the Model Y as well, but YMMV

I was curious so I tried to see what I could get on Ford’s website. They linked me to a version of the car I wanted at a local dealer that cost $12k more than it should after these price cuts.

Imagine they build 1,000 GTs and sell 900, 10,000 Premiums and sell 9,000, and 5,000 Selects and sell 4,500.

Provide one example of a mass-produced car that was priced at $40k and then $89k.

Hey at least the Hummer has recovery hooks

50 PSI is pretty normal for EVs. Rivian R1Ts have no issue with offroading when you air them down to 30.

Did you just try to dunk on someone else on the internet by admitting you swallow every drop of Elon’s loads?

You are aware that the globe is not Germany right? And that Europe is not Germany?

They doubled Tesla’s Model S annual sales with the Taycan and now they’ll double the Model X’s annual sales with this.

I bet if Hertz does start buying more EVs for its fleet, it’ll be more cars like the Chevy Bolt. Incredibly low total cost of ownership. Cheap car, cheap tires, cheap repairs. The only thing it really lacks for a rental car is space for luggage.

I’ve been telling people for years that you won’t save money by going to Tesla/Polestar. What you save in gas you lose in more frequent tire swaps, higher insurance premiums, and huge repair costs. Buy the car if you like the car, but don’t do it for savings (unless you’re coming from a Ford F-250 or something).

The model y doesn’t have blind spot alerts on the mirrors
