Why is everyone saying there’s no efficiency estimate yet?

The advertised deals may look nice, but don’t expect to get those deals when you get on the lot. I went to check out a lease on an Ioniq 6 and they quoted me a number in the $800-900/month range depending on spec. No thanks.

You really need to spend more time outside if this is the kind of stuff you care about.

Buy a used one.

Have to hard disagree with only one item on the list - blacked out cars. Some cars look really good when fully blacked out. Way better than when they have a bunch of obnoxious chrome accents.

EPA range of 300 miles for the RWD and 270 miles for the dual motor. They quoted WLTP ranges and mixed up the range numbers between dual and single motor.

You’ve also got the ranges reversed. The dual motor has less range than the single motor.

Guys those ranges are WLTP ranges, not EPA. EPA range is 270-300 miles for the updated model.

This is such a ridiculous view. Every automaker is diversified. Doesn’t matter, the predominance of their revenue comes from cars so they are car companies. Tesla is a car company. If they didn’t sell cars, they’d cease to exist. Their margins are automative margins, not tech margins. 

Just because Tesla is in a bubble doesn’t mean Zoom and most of tech isn’t in a bubble, haha. Justifying Tesla’s valuation using Zoom’s valuation might be the worst possible argument you could make. If you think this is the way the market works, then your understanding of the market is very shortsighted.

You’re thinking about this in way too black-and-white of a fashion. The question is not “Is Tesla a great company?”. I think most people would agree that their success speaks for itself. The question people should be asking is “How much is this great company worth today?” 100 billion dollars? 200 billion dollars? F***i…
