Mine is a manual and I absolutely love it.

Haha. That’s cute. They’re big but pretty shitty inside. Try that vs Volvo seats for a long drive. Try the B&W stereo. The S90 is just a way nicer place to spend time. Don’t get me wrong the Hellcat is an awesome car, but it’s no luxury sedan.

That key is beautiful. No one who sees that you drive a Volvo will think you’re a douche.

Didn’t believe this until I experienced one. Absolutely awesome fun.

For the money there’s no better all-rounder. Yes you can get a cheaper car but not one that does so many things at such a high level.

I also own two BMWs and am a devoted worshiper at the altar of Munich’s finest but after my dad bought the car on the left I added the one on the right and am now a total fanboy. There’s just something so awesome about a hot rod Swede. Yes his tag says “MTY THOR.”

The Volvo won’t be as fast or offer the same redneck thrills but man it would make a much better only car.

I’m a lifelong BMW nut. I’d always admired volvos from afar but never really let myself take the plunge. Then dad bought an S60 T6 R-design with the Polestar tune. He lives where it snows but I was still a little shocked that he preferred that to an S4. It was just a better CAR he said — even if it want the purer

God that VW ad is good.

Gaaahh! Elegance isn’t THAT hard, right? Oh I guess it is.

Seriously this car is a waste. Forgettable dynamics and pathetic horsepower. Save your money and get an E46 — more horses and a MUCH better chassis. Even with a maintenance budget to account for age you’ll be coming out ahead. If you need a modern 3 then wait until you can afford the (still mediocre) 328i.

Couldn’t agree more. I’m 27 and an enthusiast who grew up loving the RX-7, NSX, 300ZX, and 3000 GT. The Germans were cool too but were, to my young mind, a blip. Fast forward to my teenage years: I lusted after a G35, S2000 or RX-8 and thought my first car when I got out of college would be an RSX Type-S. By the time

Agree 100%. If there was an S2000 still around I’d have one over my BMWs.

    Jalopnik already answered this question:

Get the CX5. The Infiniti is very much in the sports sedan “also ran” territory. If it were a 335i vs CX5 I’d argue differently but practical, comfortable, and fun(ish) are your priorities go with the Mazda. If ultimate sportiness is your priority then go with another choice altogether.

    That Jensen!

The add-ons. Basic car isn’t my personal cup of tea, but it’s fine. This package is just so cheesy!

Somehow this manages to make jets and mechanical watches uncool — two things I usually find extremely appealing.
