They should shutter Chrysler. It's totally redundant with Dodge

“It is so choice. If you have the means I highly suggest picking one up.”

Yes, all true, but I’ve never once seen a dignitary or leader in an open car. It’s hugely more engaging and “real” to see her like this.

I love this. I love how ballsy it is. I see lots of motorcades in DC and it’s all security. This is about engaging with people and saying “fuck you” to hiding and looking damned elegant in the meantime. God save the queen.

True! But I bought the M235i new and would have bought the wagon new if there was a RWD option out there. Not a fan of x-drive!

At least in the Euros you got an interior. The magnum has one of th shittiest interiors I've even been in.

I’m 27, male, and this is what my driveway looks like. I love wagons and can afford a new one but would never drive a crossover except for a Macan. My wagon is the best all-around car I’ve ever owned (great blend of performance, mileage, and practicality) but admittedly I’m a big minority and most people don’t get it.

That's a red herring. It didn't sell because it was complete garbage from an enthusiast perspective. The sedans sell to testosterone junkies with bad credit (V6) and to old men with nostalgia (V8). Neither could credibly send up to any European competitors for the rest of the buyer pool so they failed.

Not at all. There isn’t a popular front to oust their leadership and it seems to be the system of government the country has *determined* it wants. Also, and more importantly, it’s a constitutional monarchy. So is the UK and several Scandinavian countries. Should we not allow them in NATO or provide assistance?

Except we installed the Shah and knew very well about discontent and instability in our puppet state. Jordan (to my knowledge) is a different situation. It seems more often than not that we arm regimes we install vs governments we may not have as much influence over but are more stable. Hell, we arm Turkey who is

The F35 is overkill here. The Russian option is cheaper and easier. Hell, they could get by with a super tucano or other COIN platform I would guess. This just happens to be affordable and powerful and multi-role.

Monarchy or no doesn't matter. Self-determination and stability does. Haven't we learned enough? Foisting democracy poorly on Iraq is what created ISIS in the first place.

So true! I appreciate the pedantry. Making the change now...

I know. The cost-cutting is clear. My E46 has a nicer interior.

I’m a hawkish democrat and the lack of support for Jordan alienated me and convinced me this administration wasn't adequately dealing with the ISIS threat. Here's a government that is credible and wants to take responsibility for security in this part of the world and we couldn't be bothered. And yet we've helped far

Agreed. It’s amazing how right the same parent companies are getting it with their muscle cars — ie capitalizing on American swagger but also making the cars actually competitive beyond nostalgia — but how wrong they’ve got it on the luxury end of things. How about that same iconic swagger but grown up? All the guys

I love my M235i but agree with you. It's a sports car — not a luxury car. This Lincoln should have a 5.0 V8.

I don’t generally like American cars but this looked SHOCKINGLY good in person. I still want a V8 though. Give me a 5.0 coyote in this and I'd start to lust after it.

Goddamn. I love you right now.
