I agree 100%. I'm a BMW diehard but my dad has an S60 R-Design with the polestar tune and I absolutely love it. An even more aggressive version would be great.

Please make a homologation version, Volvo. S60 GTR sounds about right...
I'm in agony now. I have an M235i and I'm not sure whether or not to put a deposit down. Advice?
Now comes the agonizing question of giving up my M235i for this or not...
Mine. And my family is Jewish. People are ridiculous when it comes to car stereotypes...
I wonder how many sales that is based on? These are getting rarer and will only benefit from the supply/demand equation. Just look at E30 M3 prices as an example.
Agreed on all counts. E30s are nuts. Just sold mine though so I won't be riding that wave any further!
I saw that but there are just so few of these that even a well-sorted pedestrian one should still command a premium in my mind. Thanks for putting it in perspective though!
I can believe the CP rating on this one since most Jalops are cheapskates. But this car is rare and a sure path to driving fun AND cars and coffee glory for the price of a modern M3 or RS5 with more character than either. That makes it not a bad price in my mind. Yes it’s more than they were going for, but like it or…
I would never own one of these specifically because of the people who ruined this one. They are the kind of people who drive these.
Dad had the hatch and chose it over more “prestigious” cars. Damned if it didn't drive a lot like my E46 despite FWD. It's gone and has since been replaced by a Polestar S60 T6, but what a fun, practical, and downright handsome car.
Lots of people “have” to be seen in a Hyundai. They’re not bad cars and they do sell well. They’re competent appliances but they’re still far from aspirational. No one wants to be “seen” driving a Hyundai. There’s no brand cachet at work there. They’re just practical and affordable cars that sell well to the Consumer…
Nice, but no one wants to be seen in a Hyundai.
Good point! Mazda is losing buyers without a real power option. The 6 is a very sweet-handling car. My dad had a first-generation hatch and chose it over an A4/328i/TL and when it came time to replace it he waited on the bigger-engine 6 which never materialized.
My mind goes to V60 too, but there’s no manual option.
Totally agree. I use my 325i long roof for biking trips, camping, sailing — you name it. I also am 26 and live in the city. Doesn’t hurt that it’s on low-pro tires and sport suspension either!
I completely agree. Those seats even have bolsters! The new ones seem made for fat American asses.
Lamborghini’s biggest problem here? That New Jersey is only so big.
He bought out the entire DC Four Seasons, so yeah.
