    So hot and smart!!

I absolutely love these. Great choice. But isn't 3.9 seconds for the manual E90 a little optimistic? Thought they were closer to the low 4s

I do prefer it to all of those cars. The Astons just seem a little more special for similar money though — on both a speed and design front. Just my opinion though!

I agree. The coupe's nose is too big. That Quattroporte is the only four-door that really looks sporty.

I love the way these sound but I can't get over how the performance is not that different from my M235. It's just not fast enough to be completely lust-worthy (something the Astons can do on looks and presence alone). The last Quattroporte was a different story though!

By "community" I meant the place we all live — not some bullshit hippie commune thing. I'm suggesting we repair bridges and roads (so they stop eating my rims!) not that we raise our children in common. Should have been clearer on that one.

That was a great comment. Today we're pretty lazy and cleverness seems to have fallen by the wayside as we're now the sole superpower (even with China on the rise). I'd love to see some of that "can-do" and communal spirit come back to our country along with some pride and spunk without the wal-mart flag waiving

I always thought it was the opposite. They consistently turn faster times for everything I look at.

This plaque looks like it came off a little league trophy — not a six figure luxury car. Come on! If I were a corrupt leader of a small country I'd demand better.

I want all of these. Makes me regret (a little) my new car purchase a few months ago for the top end of this price scale. Granted my car is in its first year and I REALLY wanted it but goddamn these are some sweet deals — especially that 911!!

You missed where I said a "used" civic si. Yes it's not in the same class new but the two could be had at a very similar price point.

I also joined the BMW community lately and it's refreshing relative to the attitude you describe elsewhere. Lots of great enthusiasts eager to help and talk. Love the E30 by the way...

This one. It's gorgeous and quick but has gotten heavy over the years. It's an excellent grand tourer for not a huge amount of money with all the pace and refinement of a lot of the other options here — but still no slouch in the twisties. My BMW is more "fun sized" but I still really think this is an elegant big

I think the Fiesta is much nicer. So is the Honda Fit. Neither are such penalty boxes as this. Seems the only question most buyers of this car ask is "what's the incentive package" and "does it move?" There are other "cheap and cheerful" options out there.

I drove the gasoline version for an hour and that was too much. It was a miserably-assembled lethargic piece of shit. EV powertrain aside, a used Civic Si or a brand new Fiesta is way better. Honestly most cars in this segment sold in Europe are much better thought-out at the same price. Why be an apologist for this

Not saying it had to be any of those things. Honestly a two year old Civic Si is probably the same price, more reliable, and way more fun to drive not to mention it actually looks like a car and not a Michael Bay fever dream. Hell — the fiesta is way better and it's the direct competition for this miserable little

I drove one as a rental. Once. It is the most basic of basic transportation in this country. Really — treat yourself to something (anything better).

CP. Buy an E92 M3 instead for that price. Why be a poseur when you can have a real sports car.

    I want this. Atacama baby!
