Such an old criticism (and on such an old post).

I HATE THESE. My car is in DC and we have white front plates. Waiting for my tow hook plate to arrive from the fabricator. Takes forever on new cars...
Also wondering if the "Roadster" badge on the back means there will be another car with a "coupe" badge!!
First the 3 and now this — Mazda has the best Japanese interiors. Hell, some of the best interiors anyway. They're even looking good enough to sway my BMW and VW driving heart. My M235i looks good, but at a multiple of this price. Nice work, Mazda!!
I'll admit I haven't driven one, but I've been around plenty. I think they sound good, but I really have a soft-spot for that engine/transmission. I think Honda nailed it with both of them. Even as a German car enthusiast, I give credit where it's due.
Nice price. This should have come with a Honda engine from the get-go. The sound and power should be intoxicating. Also, that gearbox is hands-down the best in the world.
Haha — sorry for jumping on you. There's definitely an anti-German Jalop vibe lately!
Sounds like a pretty awful ownership experience.
Wow! Much hate?
Just traded my 2013 Mk6 GTI Autobahn on an M235i. I had the 4 door "dad GTI" and unless your kids are huge, they'll fit just fine in the Bimmer. Doubt you'll go wrong with the GTI or S3 (was on the list for the S3 myself) but I'm so impressed with the BMW that I really don't think there's much of a comparison. The…
Had an APR-tuned Mk6 GTI. Bought an M235i. GTI was great, but I'll never look back!
Just went through this. I ended up getting a chipped GTI over the Golf R last time around (both brand new). There just wasn't enough of a performance advantage on the R to justify the premium and I just don't need/want AWD.
I had two Mk6 GTIs. The latter one benefitted from an APR Tune. I loved both of those cars.
Could this be the most exciting thing that has ever happened at a Lexus dealer?
Really classy, man.
I didn't say BMWs. I said hybrids/EVs with something durable for pursuits.
I live in this city with a 235. That comment = truth.
Gahh! I was so happy with my new M235i (also parked on the streets of DC) and now this. I knew it was coming but I can't help feel a tinge of possible buyers remorse as this is now so close to home.
That's pretty damn respectable! Should have done more research.
Mustang GT? Isn't that more like 420?
