I once went to one of these in an Infiniti G35 back in '05 or '06. I think it was the only car (read not truck/SUV) in the lot and almost the only foreign-made vehicle.

Check out the article about the Mk7 Golf R. 2.0 liters, 296 horsepower. I like the STi too and think this one is great, but it's not an out-of-this-world stock horsepower figure.
This was the only one that ever tempted me towards the ways of the boy-racer. I like my turbos German or Swedish and kind of refined, but man that was a cool-looking car and a great drive. Glad to see it making a resurgence!
When the Mk6 came out, I had a dealer bring one in for me. I was all excited, but when I finally got in the driver's seat it didn't do it for me at all. I had a Mk6 GTI at the time and thought it would be my next car. The initial 250-ish bhp just didn't feel like a huge upgrade and honestly I like DSG. I bought an…
...and a lot more boy-racer. No thanks.
I'm sure the 1.4 turbo will be faster, but I'm with RazorGP — it wouldn't change a lot of the problems about the car outside the rather unfortunately wheezing engine and reluctant transmission (yes, it was an auto).
From shitty to slightly less shitty.
If I could only star this response twice!
I'd probably still dd my GTI but have an Aston in the garage for special occasions. Probably a DBS. Oh, and a mint E30 M3 for weekends.
I'm a tremendous admirer of Frank Lloyd Wright and the comparison between his work and a modern Jeep is just nonsense.
Red GTI driver for a third or a "hear hear!"
I think you're on the wrong website.
A TDI handles, can be had with a manual, and has a really nice interior compared to the Prius. It even wins on utility because wagon. It's better in every way.
Ever see anything cool rolling around?
Look, I get the whole hot hatch thing. I currently have a GTI and think the Focus ST is awesome. That said, most SUV drivers probably wouldn't go for something that size.
I'm a confirmed Saab-lust perp. I troll Craigslist looking for a sweet 9-5 turbo wagon!
I'm a big APR fan personally and I can't even imagine how awesome that would be as a daily.
Wait...where's the "EWW ROOGE" edition?
Well then..iIt'll take one hell of a new Lexus to be worthy of parking next to that!
Is this new language called "Japanch?" I.E. Japanese-French?
