I once went to one of these in an Infiniti G35 back in '05 or '06. I think it was the only car (read not truck/SUV) in the lot and almost the only foreign-made vehicle.

A TDI handles, can be had with a manual, and has a really nice interior compared to the Prius. It even wins on utility because wagon. It's better in every way.
