“With all due respect to Mr. Musk, I am not sure that he or his engineers have a real good handle on exactly what they’re dealing with in this particular situation,” said Mirza...

But why would someone who refuses to eat on camera agree to be a judge on a cooking show? That’s like signing up for the Amazing Race and refusing to travel.

I take it this means this version of Cable lacks the psionic powers needed to keep the virus at bay.

Or vice-versa. They could have believed either party and still considered it a shitshow.

Which, in turn, will lead to people driving around with shaving mirrors duct taped to their broken cameras. I look forward to that. I really do.

...and if he’s wrong some charity gets a million dollars.

A standard doctorate isn’t as meaningless as one in “leadership”.

Michelle Pfeiffer is worth any number of years.

No. An ant wouldn’t be able to fly with Scott on its back if things weighed the same.

If your wife was at the end of the street, would you change cars every block or wait 30 years for a shuttle bus?

I don’t know how tedious it would be. They had the tech to shrink/grow literally anything without prep. Shrink, get in something, shrink that thing, someone puts that thing in another thing, shrinks second thing...etc. You could do that thousands of times faster than building a gate. You’d still need coordinates, but

I mostly remember Cowboy Curtis.

If you shrink a building, load that building into a van, and then shrink the van, wouldn’t the building be shrunk down dangerously small? It seems like, if you can stack shrinkings in that way, Hank could have gotten to and from the quantum realm a long time ago just by building set of shrinking Russian nesting dolls.

I think that’s the origin of the Japanese giant hornet.

He can team with Drew Carey.

I don’t think anyone is fully metric. Look at socket wrenches. Even the metric ones that are made by metric countries for use in metric countries come in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch drives.

In fairness, the US hasn’t moved to the metric system because that is a change that would require us to do something. Abolishing daylight savings is a change that would allow us to stop doing something. Laziness works in favor of this one.
