Good reminder that despite being a shit human being in general, he’s always going to be remembered for making everyone mad at him for buying Twitter.

There’s something mildly disturbing about how Homer inserted Greek gods and other fantasy elements into his epic retelling of an actual genocide in ancient Türkiye.

It’s mostly posturing. These clowns are going to play the games and they know it.

The boring, cut and paste negativity all expressing the same two or three thoughts is insufferable.

The only fix I care about is being able to remove other players characters from a multiplayer party if they’re not around on a particular evening

Neat.

That might be the common denominator, but the fault is all on Bioware.  EA didn’t force Casey Hudson to overhype and subsequently lie about the ending of ME 3.  EA never forced Bioware to use the Frostbite engine for a game that was clearly not compatible with it.  They didn’t force Bioware to sit on Anthem for almost

If you were hoping for that from Bioware, you were barking up the wrong tree.  That was never going to happen, not from them.

Who is going to spend any time watching either?

Not a single one of those games would get in Alan Wake 2's way for me, but I get why they’d move. I hope this game hits with audiences like Control did. I love seeing Remedy win.

The idea of trying to enjoy art without acknowledging the conditions under which that art was created is just so foreign to me.

Hard disagree, tbh. BG3 absolutely should be used as a weapon, as it proves an incredibly specific point, which is that publicly traded, shareholder run companies are almost always the enemy of quality. The developers I’ve seen that are preemptively complaining are not wrong, in that players will expect more, and they

I love Nintendo, but man, their hyper-litigiousness is really grating.

Looks like a “PS5" that you can order on Wish for $19.99

Seems weird they didn’t ditch the ugly design of the regular PS5.

I like and appreciate those type of reality checks to my gamer brain every now and then. It’s very much like the response I got to an acquantance of mine that only ever played Age of Empires and Civilization games on PC, when I asked, would you like to play other games?

I was planning horizontally if I can avoid going vertical.

Not related to this post, but for the past week I’m having a recurring issue where I click to read an article or a “load comments” button and I get taken to some kind of Verizon promotional site.
