Oh no! At least we still have Beyond Good & Evil 2 coming.

I really hope this is done with the same love and attention as something like RE4 remake.  This was absolutely one of the best PS2 era games for me.

I’m the same way. A new one comes out and I’m like nahhh not this one. Months later I’ve logged 100 hours and completed everything. It’s a curse.

I was looking at the store page for this game, and decided not to buy it until I at least tried Prodeus which I already had installed from Game Pass. And holy shit, Prodeus rocks. It’s kind of what my unrealistic expectation was from DOOM (2016).

Fantastic game. Looks great, plays even better.

I’m glad you loved this game, but it wasn’t for me.  The  title of the article I think is a bit misleading, but HEY at least its better then redfall!

“The development team is testing the game on a regular basis, searching for any bugs that need to be squashed and issues that need to be ironed out.”

I’m sure I’ll get dumped on here, but as a fan since the original, I have not fully understood what was going on in a Final Fantasy game without outside sources since FFVII.

Part of it is because I played FFVIII-X in a communal environment that kept me from just playing through and finishing it, and part of it is

Link’s an ass man and Zelda grew a heck of a booty since the last game is the probable explanation

Wait, they were platonic before?

Zelda just appropriated Link’s house because she’s royalty and can do shit like that without repercussions.

In A Link to the Past there’s only one bed for Link and his uncle...

I, for one, am very excited for Ahsoka’s Creed!

As much as I loved Elden Ring I really don’t want to see the “no quest log” things brought to Zelda. I don’t mind exploring and discovering on my own but Elden Rings vagueness is on a whole other level. I get this is a FromSoft thing but I really don’t want to see that in more games

There actually is a RPG system under the hood in BOTW.  It’s keeps track of certain quest points and what enemies you kill and assigns points that accumulate.   Those drops determine the strength of weapons dropped and rare items found.   So as you play you natural get better equipment which makes you better.   It’s

“But in some ways, that was a little bit restricting for us.”
yo, Aonuma, listen to what you just said. Sticking to a single formula is restricting. Just shake it up every so often.

I like the rhythm of: Main game that does something different, followed by a sequel that can do crazy things because it doesn’t have to do

I’m just desperately hoping for a new art direction, setting and world for the next Zelda.

To everyone that may have worked there for years and see this, and as someone who years ago gave the company in different parts of this area 10 years of my life. Fuck GameStop and fuck the DM at the time (possibly still now) Manny Mata. Coming from working in Flint, Burton, Troy and Detroit I feel for all of you

Exactly. It’s devastating. Society has gone horribly wrong.

My Gen Z nephew made a comment to me once about not getting “old people” because he totally understood going out and partying with his friends and drinking but didn’t understand why a 40 something year old man would come home from work, poor themselves a stiff drink and just sit around the house all evening until they
