Ratchet & Clank has quietly become one of my favorite series over the past decade. I barely paid attention to them when the series first started, but man if I don’t ever love them now.

Not to say that’s not a slippery slope problem or anything...
But all of that was happening/was in before Covid and WFH, so that’s a real false line you’re drawing between things.

Blizzard and the SQUIRREL! tactic:

Wow.

“Overwatch 2" was a mistake.

Meh. Just give me year-round Lucioball.

He’s fun, but yeah his support tools are extremely situational if you’re not grouped. I use the petal platform most of the time either to escape or to try and disrupt the enemy team by popping it in a doorway. Surprised that his healing output is among the highest in the game too. It still feels clunky and like it’s

Yep. They should’ve done Redfall (or something like it) as a great single player experience, or, assuming it absolutely HAS to be multiplayer, hand it off to a team that’s good at that sort of thing.

I’m not sure Deathloop’s “invasion” implementation was successful. As in most games, it just ended up feeling annoying to players who just wanted to progress through the story campaign. Invasions are effectively just sanctioned trolling. I’d love to see statistics of how many players actually disabled invasions during

Streaming might be an option in a country with modern infrastructure like Estonia, but not in third world countries like most of the USA.

People are either too young or just forgot how crazy expensive games were in the SNES-N64 era. this era of $60 for almost twenty years straight is crazy lucky in comparison

That seems like an awful big pasta dish of claims for you to not have brought any sauce.

Agreed. I think it’s actually the perfect length, wrapping up while it was still special and not overstaying its welcome. In general, as my work load gets heavier and my spare time shortens, I definitely don’t mind 8/10-ish hour games, and like you said, the short length means I'm more apt to spend a weekend on a

I mean, I think they could have made the campaign longer, but its brevity is probably part of its appeal. I’ve beaten it straight through four or five times. Would I have done that if it were a 15 hour game? I dunno. Probably not.

Haha, I’ve thought about doing that, but I feel like the only people who don’t have it are people who wouldn’t touch it. I just wanna spread the gospel. I feel the same way about Call of Juarez Gunslinger. So, so good.

I’m choosing to believe that they’ve spent all these years doing Soulsbourne games just to build enough clout for a new Armored Core to have mass appeal.

Nope you need Ultimate.

Where’s Arthur Morgan when you need him!

This article is hilarious 😂

One calling for genocide and the other really not doing anything about it.
