Someone saw their family for the last time this week

I’m so annoyed. Just kill that annoying MKZ. It’s useless as base versions of the Continental are so decontended that they essentially compete with the MKZ. Give the nameplate another generation to grow. It would be a shame to throw away all of that R&D after just a few years.

that poor S chassis

Seems like a prime candidate for a swap with that gorgeous new flat pane V8 from a wrecked GT350

I am glad to see German hesitancy in approving Chinese stakes in German companies. The implications of billions in R&D by Mercedes Benz being accessible to a Chinese investor is huge - investments and mergers to that degree by China may mean an industry that is wholly owned by the Chinese within a few decades.

What’s your rationale for deeming front engine/AWD a separate category? I thought it was about engine placement within the chassis, and not drivetrain?

meh, according to Men’s Health it’s about how you use it amirite

Speak for yourself, young people like myself are plenty capable of understanding a great value supercar beating sports car. Not everything has to be instagrammable or socially approved. They can call me a 23 year old midlife crisis for I care and I won’t hear them over the sound of a nice murican burnout.

Here’s one just a little out of his range (also the only Polestar on Cars.com)

All of you are wrong. What is guy is practically screaming for, but does not know he needs yet, is a Volvo C30 Polestar. Quirky, rare, and professional on the outside. Will blend in and yet stand out at the same time in Seattle.

Fuck off

I think the disparity between how much Entune, the Lexus infotainment system, sucks according to reviewers but then is ranked highly by consumers. Do you guys think it’s because it lacks so many features (carplay, advanced phone pairing) that there’s less to complain about, or that the average Lexus customer is so

Sad to see it happening all over. I live in Chicago, and it’s crazy to think that in 1989, Lexus as a brand and the NSX both debuted at Chicago. Now, the biggest news are an overpriced Passat and some trim levels for a Dodge Durango.

Had a slight tinge of pain at that poor crushed E34 and mint early generation ES300

You know, I’m not sure. This one was a J-vin Camry, but Toyota had the white/beige two tone on multiple cars in the late 90s, including the RX300, LS400, and the previous generation XV10.

We bought her on September 15th, 1999, after the 323 my parents bought when they moved to America died. It was an awesome car that served us loyally for 16 years. Learned to drive in it, took it on my first big road trip from Chicago to Syracuse to see friends, and learned to fall in love with cars. Traded in on

Sometimes I daydream of trading in my WRX for one of these or an iA. 80% of the row-your-own fun in the city with none of the worry about scratched bumpers or insurance.

I feel like the BMW group is undergoing a maliase with poor product planning, misspent R&D, and no clear future for the vision. They abandoned their enthusiast ethos to cater to every day driver, and I’m secretly glad that that strategy is not panning out well

I was 6 when I started to really get into cars. Cue walking out of F&F.. the Supra. It’s what got me to learn about engines, automotive history, and what got me into cars and Toyota. I ended reading the history of Kaizen at age 10 because of the damn Supra, and now I’m a miserable adult saving every penny for a nice

Every logical part of me wants to say the 2019 - it’s got the handling, the looks, and the power. However, I remember reading the C/D shootout between the S197 Bullit and the (then new) Challenger. Something about how the blunt simplicity of the S197 captures the gritty vibe of the movie captivates me to illogically
