I had no idea this was happening and to find out it is happening WITH DuVernay?!! In this moment, life is perfect!

And it’s so frustrating because with the Republican Party in shambles, now would be a good time to push forward with a real progressive candidate.
I completely agree.
Thanks for sharing this information. Also, Jezebel didn’t write up a post when Ben Jealous, another Former NAACP president endorsed Sanders.
As a former English teacher, this was my very first mental action.
I starred this, but don’t do Kevin dirty like that.
Most people haven’t even started paying attention.
Bernie supporter here. Totally agree with your assessment. The Dem debates have been great to watch and Clinton has really done well. Every Dem debate proves the sanity of the Left when compared with the lunacy of the Right.
Like Warren, he’d be better off in the Senate than as VP. President or bust.
I find this whole fight over electability exhausting because while the early polls are not very predictive, there isn’t clear evidence for the pro-Hillary argument that Sanders is unelectable and that Hillary is a safer choice. Appeals to common sense on this issue work especially poorly in this election season. Right…
Oh America.
You’re right that he was relatively unknown. His initial numbers in New Hampshire had a large gap, just like elsewhere. However, being from New England gives him significant advantage. See 538's take.
I would disagree that it’s pandering at least with regards to how anyone else picks a VP partner. He is considered ideal because is young, from the South/Southwest and Hispanic. He then complements Hillary, expanding the appeal of the ticket. That’s basically what role the VP serves.
I think she’s allowed to change her mind, but I do think that she plays a vital role in the Senate.
Before you assert that there are a ton of people like you, show me the proof. You can only credibly speak for yourself online.
New Hampshire is not the best example as Bernie has an almost home court advantage. I’d say the better measure would be favorability ratings or enthusiasm (which favors Bernie), but the national exposure for Bernie isn’t as high as Clinton’s so his high numbers could reflect the fact that he hasn’t been attacked as…
I don’t think it is clear that Elizabeth Warren is a first choice pick. Clinton two weeks ago did make news for not ruling out a female VP pick, but most everything I’ve read recently has been about Julian Castro. He is actively campaigning for her across multiple states and has been on the shortlist for ages.…
Seriously, does this person not get that“clitrash” is so offensive, my jaw dropped when I saw it.
I honestly don’t get this. I’m 100% Bernie, but why would you support a candidate for running an issues-based campaign, when you don’t believe in the issues? If they believe he is only saying what is politically expedient, where’s the draw?
People who consider accuracy important.
