My life-long personal philosophy of “If it burns stop putting it on your face” remains effective.

Firmly in the camp that pitchers should have to be able to intentionally walk someone and not just award a hitter the base when indicated. Too many fun (and funny) moments occur when these guys can’t do one of the most simple actions in all of sports, playing catch.
The same thing that got him into it is also what made it spiral -- his inability to know when to stop pushing. If you read her first and last texts and nothing in between, it’s like two different people. He always had to get the last word -- to have that control. From the first night on. It had to be infuriating.
Looks like someone got my email!
What an awful string of messages. How much clearer can she be that she doesn’t want him to talk to her? Whatever feelings of remorse he expressed, it is obvious that he is motivated primarily by a desire to have her assuage his wounded conscience, not any concern for her well-being.
Holy shit. I really respect this woman for standing up to him like that.
“We need to get older and slower.”
Yeah also the way it’s written up the police not only called it consensual but said the kid “admitted” to the relationship as if s/he was the perpetrator. Gross all the way around.
celly’d
Well, if this is indeed true, I have her back. I actually tremendously respect a parent instantly taking action rather than putting it down to a slip up or a one time thing that just repeats itself.
Shut out yet again. Eventually they’ll wise up & see my research is leading cheesecake into a new & exciting direction.
Stuff like this is why I keep paying attention to my favorite team even when they’ve easily eclipsed 90 losses.
I love the idea that Frank Luntz is meticulously crafting this message with him, coaching on what to say without taking a clear side outside of loving one another, etc. and then Cam’s like “Yeah but I’m going to do it this font” and Frank figures it’s all about making progress and no “zero” days or whatever.
No kidding , when he makes the cover of Sports Illustrated for Kids then we can talk.
The toughness thing has to die, especially in international hockey. Canada went that route in the 2006 Olympics and it was a fucking disaster. I think it was Yzerman after that who said screw it, we need to choose the most skilled, best players available; and it’s worked ever since.
Accurate. Except the white guy is still given the opportunity to become all the great things, because we wouldn’t want to deprive him.
So it’s not just me who thought these look like things that are worn in nursing homes and hospital rehabilitation units. They look like shoes made for diabetics at risk for losing limbs or for people with gangrenous wounds. Not attractive.
Definitely not. Would you wear these, though?
That’s what I was thinking, the one on the right is definitely just an air cast with some fur lining
oh cool i didn’t realize medical supply companies were pivoting to become consumer-facing
