I’m pretty sure NBC just ceded the rights to it and I believe it was produced through WB anyway. The transition wouldn’t be that difficult and if you match it up with the other DC properties it gives all of them the ability to pull in supernatural which is quite fun.

Yeah Delta, when I say Ms. Marvel I mean Kamala Khan. Probably the best new character i the Marvel Comics Universe. I don’t expect her to be a quick add because she is so new (as opposed to virtually every other character that has over a forty year history to pull from), but there is a great opportunity there.

I think the motivation will be more being betrayed by someone who he goes on an uncomfortable limb for (Barry) and the woman he loves. Even so, I agree, its a bad trope and short of some really really impressive writing (and mind control doesn’t count) I can’t imagine an easy way out.
