Instantly thought of Final Destination 2 logging truck scene.
LOL. I think the wording was ambivalent enough, and Kinja is stupid enough that your comment about what they do off duty appears right under the main article with everything else condensed above it. So it reads like a bona fide comment on the Qantas flight.
I wish Formula E had some sort of a decent TV / streaming deal. Right now the only way to stream is to VPN because the streams are all region-restricted. The streams are terrible quality and frequently cut out. And Fox Sports couldn’t give a shit about the coverage and pepper it with ads, and if the race goes long,…
Yeah those fuckers are all wrong. When person in front of you reclines, so do you. It’s pretty fucking simple.
787's all have crew rest areas above the main cabin. 2, 4 or 6 bunks. It’s crawling-room only but it’s quiet, has it’s own heating and A/C and is the perfect place to nap.
Formula E cars are whiny enough with the motors. They don’t need whiny Hamilton.
Business class != frequent flier.
TBH I’m more excited about the Rivian support trucks than the Hardly Ablesons.
I wondered that, but then where do you charge the trucks? Maybe swappable batteries constantly charged by forward support teams?
“While efforts have been made to make the sport greener (think hybrid engines),”
I wouldn’t want to be them. 100 mile range (less with the way the bikes have been modified).
Sort of like the original when Mr KTM refused to help them out :)
Frankly I’m not even sure Ewan and Charley can rescue this. Trying to ride from Ushuaia to LA on livewires 90 miles at a time? It’ll be entertaining TV but I wouldn’t want to be in their shoes.
Airbus have manufacturing and engineering facilities in the US. Employing Americans, contributing to the US economy. Tariffs make no sense and will do nothing other than put airfares up. The airlines are not going to absorb that 10% so it will be just passed on the to public.
You’ve seen one in blue? Huge envy on this end ....
The Volvo lane assist is good enough it can drive itself. It seems every bit as capable as a Tesla - but only in 17 second bursts. That’s how long it will wait before telling me it needs torque input through the steering. Of course you can go the idiot route and jam something heavy in one side of the steering wheel…
I use adaptive cruise almost all the time now but I know its limits in my XC60 - like when the car in front changes lanes, the system often doesn’t pick up the next vehicle ahead straight away and has a tendency to charge towards it.
