As a person who lives in WI and has gone to the Dells many times, I agree that it's one of the weirdest places I've been. Why would surf shops do business in the middle of the forest?

My day has just been made.

I just finished watching this today. I agree with the love for Jeffery Wright. I think I could listen to him talk about anything, and if he was really a nurse I would go to any hospital he was at.

Yes, but how do you feel about the bloated Costner vehicle Wyatt Earp?

If you say Ferris Bueller, you lose a testicle.

My sister and I used to watch that and then immediately watch it again. We loved Lucas. Hell, I still love Lucas.

I love The Christmas Story marathon, and I even own that film 3 times on DVD. (People keep buying it for me).

Yay for Star Wars marathons on Spike! It's one of those series that can be on and I can be doing other things too. It's so great.

As far as Brendan Fraser is concerned, I will stop and watch The Mummy whenever it's on. It's a fun movie and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Plus sexy Arnold Vosloo!

Yes on Steel Magnolias. One hundred times yes. There is so much about that movie that is just perfect.

Dammit cat. As I was saying, I sat and watched the entire film with my husband on our honeymoon. At 4am. That is how great it is.

Amen on 12 Angry Men. I have that on DVD and have seen it a million times, and I will still watch it if I run across it on TV. It is completely entrancing.

I'm trying to get up the courage to get to the Boswell Books reading. I don't know if I have the guts to talk to you all in person. There's no time in person to think up witty comments without editing.

Wow. I love this thread. we clearly miss the Taste Test. OK:
-Egg salad is great, and anyone who doesn't like egg salad but will eat Deviled eggs is weird.
-Pineapple is only for fruit salad or to be eaten alone; keep it the hell away from my hot pizza.
-Any chocolate baked good that contains nuts in it will not be

This movie instilled a desire in me to be a drag queen, if only for the opportunity to wear red glitter lipstick.

I really like What Lies Beneath. It's a nice little creeper, and Harrison Ford as a villain is oddly unnerving. Plus, who is more beautiful than Michelle Pfeiffer?

I kind of liked Hostel better. Maybe I'll watch Cabin Fever again to see if it's better the second time. There were parts of it that were kind of effective, but I can't really say why I didn't like it. Thinking of it as a cartoon is a good idea.

I just saw this movie on IFC the other day, and I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed it even more than Cabin Fever, which was on before it and really pretty much sucked.

That's funny since I just did that very thing yesterday. I have been fighting off a stupid cold for over a week. Yesterday I put in my VHS copy of The Unearthly with John Carradine, and let the 'bots ease me to sleep with their soothing, hilarious commentary. The only bad part is that since I'm sleeping I miss all the

I give you all the credit in the world, Werd.
