Really, leave dogs out of it. Just because they can make do for a while on a vegetarian diet doesn't mean they will *thrive* on one long-term, same as a human could get by for quite some time on McDonald's and coffee, but it's hardly ideal. I see too damn many dogs with chronic health issues because their humans

He's a gem.

Clicker training / marker training (using a specific word to mark a behavior) is good stuff. I use an actual clicker mostly for teaching/refining *really* specific behaviors and when working with fearful animals for whom voice markers can be too much. Can't help you with the exploding head, though, although I personally believe it's worth the risk. ;) There were over 300 Pugs there last year.

New England Jezzies might be interested in attending the Pug Rescue of New England annual Pug Social this Sunday (Oct. 12) in Spencer, Mass. It's their largest fundraiser, and there are games, raffles, a truly impressive costume contest, and so! many! Pugs!

Also: lighting and camera angle.

I think that would be fascinating. :)

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I'm glad this helped you.

Yeah. They've found the remains of multiple dogs and cats at this point, and there were calls made by neighbors on a neglected dog (left in the yard and thus visible) as far back as 2011. :(
