I liked the suit. It really needed a different tie, though; the grey just brought out his grey and made him look tired.
Absolutely!
Hey, I don't know what meds your dog needs, but have you looked at http://www.goodrx.com ? There was a neat piece on NPR about them, and I was able to knock the cost of my senior dog's meds down by a little more than half. They give you a bulk buying code to give to the pharmacist (like a health plan),…
Here's a map of the home range of just the white-tailed deer: map
And if you go here and scroll down to page 5, you'll see a population density map of white-tailed deer in the US that shows, for example, that there are 15-30 deer per square mile in such population-dense areas as greater Boston, 30-45 around Atlanta,…
No, that's one reason why you don't belong around asshole sociopaths.
Seriously, I don't hunt, but I live in a rural New England state and am surrounded by hunters. I don't know a single one who wouldn't be horrified by that.
I'm sorry you had to see it.
Oh, honey. <hug>
Call animal control and/or the cops.
People mean well, but if you haven't been trained how to safely handle/remove from a vehicle a panicked or aggressive dog you run the risk of endangering the animal further. (And no, you can't necessarily tell how a critter is going to react beforehand.)
Oh, come on. The young Orson Wells was *hot*. Rita had him at his peak of tastiness.
Thanks so much for this. You just summarized in a tidy paragraph what lots of therapy only kind of hinted at for me.
It was 25+ years ago (started college at 16, was involved with someone until 20) and I have certainly moved on just fine, but the year or two following the breakup were horrible and filled with a lot of…
Cheers. You saved me a lot of typing.
I will never understand the appeal.
Maybe it's the voice that kills it for me.
Thai food.
Fine. More Guinness, red wine, valium, and gin for me, then. God, I don't even know who you people are any more.
Oh, I think you responded quite well. :)
I'm so sorry.
I don't think it's inappropriate at all. :)
My mother (FtM) had his medical records changed to male very early on in his transition. There were still lots of GYN appointments following that, and it did make for some problematic billing/scheduling issues.
Well, there are things you can do *besides* take meds. Meds work great for me but I can't take them because the crashes are too severe. :-/ But learning more about ADD and coming up with practical solutions/coaching has been a help. The medical folks I've worked with have been very quick to stress that meds are only…
Uh, no. There are many ways to make brownies, and some recipes do indeed contain enough theobromine (particularly via baker's chocolate) to be deadly to even a large dog.
Anyone who's ever worked in a vet's office can tell you plenty of stories of dogs who absolutely *weren't* OK after consuming alcohol.
*Or* they smell weed and know you're likely going to be sitting still for a while, in a good mood, and likely to give them some petting and attention and they build the association with that. Which, behaviorally speaking, is a far more likely scenario.
