Trump is way too much of a coward to be a made guy. He can give the order to have others kill people. He couldn’t kill someone himself.

Please. Please, to whatever god you might pray to, that Pence is implicated as well.
*Tried* to recall them. It’s the most hilarious thing I’ve seen recently.
(Dang, I hadn’t thought about WMMR’s Morning Zoo in years. Listened to it in the late 80s/90s, including at work, until moving away from Philly. Howard Stern is a jackass.)
(Bonus: it’s the ghost of the pet badger Teddy Roosevelt had in the White House. Because god, would old TR loathe this guy.)
Obviously, I wish her the best. I hope she does unseat him. It would be delicious.
Speaking of obscure, look up a musical called “Fiorello!”, about NYC mayor Fiorello H. LaGuardia. It debuted on Broadway in 1959, starring Tom Bosley (the dad on Happy Days). Unfortunately, a movie was never made. But I wonder if you could hunt down a recording of a stage production online somewhere. I grew up on…
This is the exact thought I had, and I was wondering why nobody else brought up that time he just laid out classified documents on the dinner table at Mar Lago, where, IIRC, other guests took cell photos of it.
Okay, I hear you but... I would direct your attention to a number of outfits worn by Elton John and Freddie Mercury, on stage. They weren’t nobodies. They were already somebody. But they undeniably had a huge camp energy.
Same here. I tended to view it that he was always worthy, but Mjolnir wasn’t going to allow itself to be lifted for a frivolous reason. I suppose I further just thought that, having not been able to lift it at that time, Steve just put it in the back of his mind, and didn’t really think about trying to do so again.
Well done. Deep cut. (I really loved those movies!)
(I also have a tendency to forget that I’m on the older end of the voter scale, in my 50s.)
Okay, yeah, that’s good answer.
Honest to god, I’m so baffled. He was fine as Obama’s VP, of course. I like all the bro memes as much as the next person. I don’t hate the guy! But like... why?
Genuine question: where did the “one term pledge” thing even come from? This is the first I’ve seen it mentioned, and I’m scratching my head. My only familiarity with it is from reading the biography of Teddy Roosevelt. (Who, of course, after ascending to the presidency after McKinley’s assassination, served out…
Not just that, but Passover too. My local store has a big and well-stocked section aimed at Passover, and I think a lot of area stores did as well.
(ha ha, same! the nearby Shaws is good for stopping in and grabbing a couple of things the Stop & Shop inexplicably doesn’t carry. But I’m not happy about having to shop there. I might have to brave Market Basket...)
Limited anecdotal evidence. Stop & Shop is my main supermarket, I’m in the Boston area. The store is really clean, well-stocked, and the employees are nice, on occasion going out of their way to be helpful.
Gravity Falls.
(I’d make an exception for when you weren’t specifically asked to bring wine, but you didn’t know what else to bring so you brought wine anyway, and it was like bringing coals to Newcastle -- the host had already opened multiple bottles, plus had plenty of beer. So your wine didn’t get opened, but just because the…
