Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.

Clearly you wait for the police at that point so they can figure out who is the good guy with the gun. All the cops I’ve met love the idea of rolling up on a bunch of good people with guns because it makes us all, and them, so much safer.

Oh I’m looking to scrap today, let’s bring you out the greys.

It’s just a model of how deranged a society we are that the response to witnessing a hit-and-run only involving property damage is... murder. It’s similar to how a marine on the NY Subway strangled a belligerent homeless man to death earlier this year.

I’ve known a total of two. One was a Mormon, the other is my ex. (And also an ex-Mormon, holy shit, how has this not occurred to me for fourteen years?) Yeah...

Very much this. Except when cops do it, it’s always under the absolute assumption that letting a suspect get away will necessarily result in grievous injury or death of another person, even if it was a robbery. Cops are somehow morally bound to do high-speed chases through populated cities because if they don’t,

Hannah Payne “acted like a cop”

Nobody bothers to ask the rest of us if we want all these ‘good guys’ running around with their boom sticks ‘protecting’ us. Keep your toys at home. I don’t trust your judgement and bullets are notoriously hard to take back if you make an ‘oopsies’.

No, this was 100% a tragedy of one person’s making. And that going to prison for murder for the tragedy they caused.

Yeah, but all the murderers seem to think that they are that good guy. Until they kill someone with it, at least.

Fuck that bitch.

Good. Let this be a lesson to everyone. Mind your own goddamn business. I’m sick of everyone hopped up on outrage trying to be the One Lone Ranger or whatever that shit is called. Mind your own goddamn business, and leave your guns at home in a locked cabinet.

This isn’t tragic all around”. It’s tragic only for the family she destroyed. And calling it an “error in judgment” is fucking disgusting. This wasn’t a split-second decision she got wrong. She willingly, by choice, pursued a man she was told not to pursue and killed him while he posed no threat to her whatsoever.

Being an angry, lying murderer made Hannah cry.

Where is that Good Guy With A Gun? I keep hearing so much about him, but he’s just never there when he’s “needed.”

Who is this asshole berating Katherine Legge? As an IMSA and IndyCar fan I need to know so I can curse their ignorance. No one deserves this, especially a legitimately accomplished driver.

And that’s just gender, never mind color. The amount of color’d racers like Willy T ribbs getting shafted multiple times despite walking the walk even in an F1 car was ridiculous.

I started reading automotive journalism at 18 and remember reading and reading about Denise McCluggage, and reading about women race drivers from Shirley Muldowney, Sabine Schmitz, Jessi Combs, and many others and the struggles they faced with the systemic sexism in racing. I hope that someday there is not an issue

As with all such laws, we will know how effective it is by how many dealers scream these new regulations will put them out of business,  how many stealerships shut down because their business can only survive by scamming and most importantly how many dealer principals and managers get massive fines or jail

this is the correct response to this article. you absolutely can use hot water on your windshield to help clear ice. you absolutely can not use boiling water to do it.
