Have you ever asked someone with that shit on their ad when you could come look at it and then the ad disappears and you never get a response? Shit is infuriating. With any luck, they have other stuff listed and you can go spam them on all of that....not that I would do something like that.

As you might have guessed, even people who say “if the ad is up, it is available” don’t always monitor their posts. Over the past year I’ve reached out to 4 or 5 separate sellers, only to have them say “oh, sorry, forgot to take this down.”

Instead of controlled and smart growth the people here want zero growth, more services, and lower taxes.....makes sense eh?”

I’m not paying more than $100 to watch any male rapper in concert until they step up their shows. I wanna see set design, choreography, costume changes, something.

As a Florida Resident, I call them the “At least we tried” laws.

The song most approved of for the state song of Mississippi is “Sweet Home, Alabama” because it’s a good tune.

Yup. Its like... oh shit.... Florida is getting all of the attention for passing the most asshole laws. We gotta outdo em!

Flash my left blinker, moved to inside lane, flashed again to move into the dedicated left turn lane and waited

Tickets equal points on one’s license and higher insurance premiums. So fighting a $60 ticket can make sense depending on the circumstances. Maybe not $7500 worth of sense, but he didn’t end up paying anyway so... <shrug>

Damn skippy. A lawyer with a conscience. I’m currently paying a lawyer $400 an hour to fight a terrible injustice and you can bet he’s leaning into it.

Exactly. What’s to prevent the police from throwing random offenses at the wall and seeing what sticks? There should be consequences for actions.

It does seem like a lot. But also I wish I had the money to do that sort of shit to get out of a ticket.

Time to retrain that cop and I hope the judge reamed him for it. It’s important to remember that these kinds of cases tie up the courtrooms and cost the courts unrecoverable money.

I’m glad he did it pro bono, because $7500 to go into court and say “you can’t break a law that doesn’t exist” seems a bit steep.

doing just enough to keep Elon happy, that’s impressive
