Have you ever asked someone with that shit on their ad when you could come look at it and then the ad disappears and you never get a response? Shit is infuriating. With any luck, they have other stuff listed and you can go spam them on all of that....not that I would do something like that.

As you might have guessed, even people who say “if the ad is up, it is available” don’t always monitor their posts. Over the past year I’ve reached out to 4 or 5 separate sellers, only to have them say “oh, sorry, forgot to take this down.”

I pulled right out of a convivence store on a double lane road, that was about 80 yards from the cross street I needed to turn left on. Flash my left blinker, moved to inside lane, flashed again to move into the dedicated left turn lane and waited…

Tickets equal points on one’s license and higher insurance premiums. So fighting a $60 ticket can make sense depending on the circumstances. Maybe not $7500 worth of sense, but he didn’t end up paying anyway so... <shrug>

It does seem like a lot. But also I wish I had the money to do that sort of shit to get out of a ticket.

Time to retrain that cop and I hope the judge reamed him for it. It’s important to remember that these kinds of cases tie up the courtrooms and cost the courts unrecoverable money.

I’m glad he did it pro bono, because $7500 to go into court and say “you can’t break a law that doesn’t exist” seems a bit steep.
