Hella 4169 lighting - shit ton of models

Most windshields for old cars are cheap. I paid like $100 bucks for the new windshield in my ‘65 Chevy. It wasn’t all that hard to get too. You could get clear, clear with tint strip, or an EZ-Eye green replica.

Exactly.

Neat. Similar to GM part 15199033? Sierra 1500, Sierra 2500, Sierra 3500, Silverado 1500, Silverado 2500, Silverado 3500, Yukon XL 1500, Yukon XL 2500, Yukon, Tahoe, Suburban 1500, Suburban 2500, Avalanche 1500, Avalanche 2500, Escalade, Escalade EXT, and Escalade ESV.

They’re sharing the same part number—duh.

At one time the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile used the lightbar and headlights from a Pontiac Grand Prix and tail lights from a Trans-Am

It’s literally the same platform, why is it a note worthy example of parts sharing? Next, you’ll tell me it’s newsworthy that a Chevelle uses the same glass as an El Camino, Tempest, Special, etc? Or is this just another way to shoehorn the 2nd gen Charger into the conversation?

What is it with everyone mentioning cars that share platforms share parts? That is the whole point of platform sharing.....

...or open up the field and allow more teams?

*Looks at title and then looks at author...nods unsurprisingly*

Maybe you would also be ok with police putting cameras in your house, which would increase your safety immensely!

That paint and interior are well received among the BMW fans.

At $25k, I still don’t think he actually plans on getting rid of it...

I totally agree! But it’s also possibly that is still shorter than when compared to a traditional rack an pinion (or recirculating ball, or... you get the point).

Do you even know how that meme is supposed to be used?

Just a theoretical example: If it takes a driver 1 second to turn a traditional rack and pinion to full lock, what the fuck does lag matter on an electronic steering rack if it takes a driver 0.5s to get to full lock, plus 0.125s of lag. That would still be faster than a traditional system.

It is your fault for constantly reminding everyone you own we.  Like, we get it dude.

I’m inclined to agree with this take. Lag at a standstill seems like a complete non-issue to me, and it seems logical that that lag wouldn’t be present if the vehicle was actually moving.

Ford Model T. Realistically, we have to go back that far. Best of all, it’s at this point so devoid of any meaningful real-world connection to anyone - even to those who actually own one today - it’s all basically theoretical, like George Washington or Abraham Lincoln.

Jesus, you really do try to shove the Charger into everything. Get’s old as fuck real fast.
