I’m just confused on this “his” decisions and “my” decisions regarding large financial decisions. I know not all married couples have combined finances, but the idea that a married person makes such a big financial decision in a vacuum is just silly. If you have your car repo’ed and your credit score takes a big hit,

Not sure about long term reliability, but Zero’s fit and finish, and quality of materials pales in comparison to this.  Also, Zero’s can have a bit of heat soak issues with the battery, and I’ve never heard of that with Harley.  If everything is equal (price included) you’d be down right silly to not choose the

Her husband financed $78k for a 2 year old truck? I can’t tell if this is rage bait, or I’m just this out of touch with the general population.

I suspect the vehicles were bought because “everyone else” had them and maybe a little bit of the dreaded “you got something nice and new so I do too” marriage dynamic.

What hellhole high cost of living area do you live in where it’s $10k to upgrade a panel? Four years ago I paid an electrician $3k to upgrade my panel from 100A to 200A, and to run 100A electric (I dug the trench and put in the conduit) to a sub panel in the detached garage (~60 ft away from the house), and he

I think it’s just confirmation bias talking. There are so many Teslas on the road these days it’s not hard to find examples of bad drivers. Personally I don’t see any difference in a Tesla driver’s ability and that of any other car. There are good, and there are bad. Jeep Cherokee drivers on the other hand...

Yup. I fail to see how no rear window creates additional cargo space or rear seat space. It’s like these people have never heard of a hatchback, wagon, or Saab 900 before. This seems to be a stylistic choice, not a functional one.

And do the reviews actually say it stays clean?

Yeah, I’ll believe it when they actually hit the market. The only camera on any vehicle I’ve seen actually able to stay clean is on VWs where it tucks away behind the badge. Every other exterior camera on every other vehicle gets dirty.

So how is this going to be any different than the Cybertruck review camera/”mirror” that gets dirty and thus you can’t see shit.  Matter of fact, every back up camera is like this.  It’s the tail end of winter here, but still salt season, and I’m having to wipe off my back up camera nearly daily if I want it to remain

Definitely agree, the C6 was the peak. A C6 Z06 with MRC is a holy grail for me.

I’m with you on this. All these people hating on these vehicle, and yet they’ll simultaneously complain that the new Accord is too bland.

I think this is the weakest easter jeep safari I can remember

I agree up to the C8 point. That was a step down from the C7. It is too long from the back of the door to the rear bumper and the side intakes need a lesson from Porsche or Ferrari. I know WHY it is longer it just looks off to me. Fantastic car mostly just off looking from some angles.

I appreciate any odd looking vehicle. SSR, the HHR, Aztek, Vehicross...i love them all 🤣

Econobox appliances are low hanging fruit answers for this QOTD. I don’t think car makers even really care about the designs for their high volume disposable appliances. They’ll sell no matter how they look. They do the bare minimum, and that is it.

I can see the SSR hate. But I don’t think it’s THAT bad. I just needs a nice set of wheels, lower it a bit and take those running boards off. Plus you could get one with a LS2/T56 combo. Throw a honkin’ cam in there and smoke some tires.

I’d still like them to get a warrant first. This is the kind of creepiness that the old GDR’s police used to do, and I’m less and less happy with our slipshod acceptance of it. A warrant is barely a speedbump, given just how much of a rubberstamping exercise it has become since 9/11, but I’d still like the cops to be

It has a camera; the entire rearview mirror is different than a traditional car.  Even with the bed cover open, you can’t really see shit out of the back.
