The older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve started liking Tri-5s. Well, ‘55 is clearly the best of the three.

Because that’s what you head looks like soon after you transplant a bunch of hair to it.
Plus, they are cheap enough that it often doesn’t make sense to fix them after some point.
I see you don’t live in a place that experiences winter and attempts to fight it with excessive salt use.
The funniest thing is that a quad motor Rivian is probably the closest thing to a true 4WD system if we are looking at basic definition of the words used to name it. I’m not suggesting a quad motor is the best off road, it isn’t, but it truly has four wheels that are driven.
This has been pointed out to Jalopnik (and I believe Owen specifically, among other writers) but they don’t give a fuck because they’d rather write disingenuous headlines that drive clicks.
It’s entirely legal to refuse roadside breathalyzers and field sobriety tests. It’s only when they haul you to the station and when you refuse to blow into the large and expensive unit that it becomes an immediate license loss in NYS.
And why do we legally allow systems like this on the road!?!?
I’m interested to see how the AWD system functions on the hybrid. Is it the same as the EcoBoost, or is there some other shenanigans going on that greatly reduces available power being sent to sections.
He likely wasn’t under weight the entire race, just part of it. Piastri would have to get by; at 0.068 per lap, Piastri wouldn’t have been passing.
Either way, GR benefitted from weighing less than his on-track rivals. Even if we’re conservative, GR was likely ~3 seconds faster over the course of the race due to the weight disparity.
I was there ~2 years ago, and I barely recall any Chinese tourists. I certainly remember the French Canadians throwing a fit in the airport that their carry-on bag didn’t fit in the little size checker; literally one of them was screaming about how the airline was forcing her to throw stuff out as she is literally…
It was the last reason I even really considered SouthWest any more.
Make the manufacturers pay for the testing. If I want to drive on a public road, I have to pay for the licensing tests. My state requires me to pay for the annual inspection. Why not require the manufacturers to foot the bill to certify their cars are safe enough?
I also don’t have a steering wheel called Origin.
Max has driven like this his entire career. The only time he hasn’t is when he’s 30 seconds ahead.
Stickers. Why do most states require a sticker to track inspections (and/or registrations). Everything is tied to the license plate number. What police department doesn’t have license plate scanners or at least the ability for the officer to look up a license plate in their vehicle?
Nah, you probably just need snowtires.
This is still way better than the dumb dildo shifters from the likes of BMW or other brands. This at least links a physical location to a physical state of the transmission. The shifters where a physical location can mean multiple things and thus you have to rely on a light, is the worst.
