Right!?!? I just built a crewcab AT4 on their website, adding everything I quickly could to get the price up, and it was literally $79k.

I’m just confused on this “his” decisions and “my” decisions regarding large financial decisions. I know not all married couples have combined finances, but the idea that a married person makes such a big financial decision in a vacuum is just silly. If you have your car repo’ed and your credit score takes a big hit,…
Not sure about long term reliability, but Zero’s fit and finish, and quality of materials pales in comparison to this. Also, Zero’s can have a bit of heat soak issues with the battery, and I’ve never heard of that with Harley. If everything is equal (price included) you’d be down right silly to not choose the…
I think the number 1 issue is aim. When was the last time you ever heard of anyone having their headlights aimed or checked or anything like that. From new vehicles being aimed poorly at factory (not all of them, but it happens sometimes) to people changing wheel/tire fitments or suspension changes and not updating…
I’m not sure this is the logo to complain about reductivism. It looks great before and after. Even if you don’t like this one, there are way worse ones out there and I don’t think anyone can honestly say this is even on the bad half of them.
I bought a new Xterra Pro4X with manual in 2013; it was a great vehicle. Just got pathetic gas mileage. 16mpg even if you drove like Grandma.
Windows are big, lenses are small. What takes more dirt to make unusable? This should be obvious to you if you’ve ever owned a car with a back up camera and and back window. When the back up camera is unusable, the back window is typically still easily see thru, despite them being in close proximity on most vehicles.
Honestly, being the good guy with a front end loader looks like it would be awesome.
Which also means it’s far more difficult to actually clean. At least with a rear mounted camera, it’s roughly waist height and takes all of 2 seconds and a wipe with my thumb. Mount it on the roof, and how are people reaching that easily?
Yup. I fail to see how no rear window creates additional cargo space or rear seat space. It’s like these people have never heard of a hatchback, wagon, or Saab 900 before. This seems to be a stylistic choice, not a functional one.
And do the reviews actually say it stays clean?
Yeah, I’ll believe it when they actually hit the market. The only camera on any vehicle I’ve seen actually able to stay clean is on VWs where it tucks away behind the badge. Every other exterior camera on every other vehicle gets dirty.
So how is this going to be any different than the Cybertruck review camera/”mirror” that gets dirty and thus you can’t see shit. Matter of fact, every back up camera is like this. It’s the tail end of winter here, but still salt season, and I’m having to wipe off my back up camera nearly daily if I want it to remain…
What makes this an Explorer? It looks nothing like the existing Explorer. This just seems like it would confuse buyers.
Plus, how fast do they think things happen? It’s gonna take a decade or two before a new bridge is built to replace this. Even if it were possible to reinforce this bridge to prevent something like this, it would have started a good 10+ years ago, well before Biden ever took office.
I thought we were talking about the buying habits of the American public, not just the buying habits of EV buyers.
Yup. Corvette has been on a styling downswing since the C6.
Were you born this way, or were you dropped as an infant?
I’m with you on this. All these people hating on these vehicle, and yet they’ll simultaneously complain that the new Accord is too bland.
The board should be shitcanned too. Look how many CEO’s that board has been through in the past ~10 years. It’s crazy.
