I fully admit that rising college prices are a huge part of the problem. I’m simply stating that I don’t think loan forgiveness/discharging is going to help that problem at all. College would still be ridiculously expensive.

I went to state school. It wasn’t bad at all. Sure, it didn’t have the glamor of some of the ultra expensive private schools that lots of my friends went to, but I graduated with a degree and extremely minimal debt, and not that long ago.

Good point. Make student loans dischargeable via bankruptcy.

Our schools, which are little more than football palaces with libraries attached, should be funded more by tax dollars again, not through mortgaging the futures of teenagers.

I’m not so sure about that.  At least CR actually buys the vehicles they do tests on; most of the reliability stuff is sourced from owners, and similar models if possible

I’m totally supportive of the union’s right to strike and I think they deserve what they are asking for.

Why can’t people just accept that Biden sometimes rambles and is incoherent. It’s like they have to bring up the previous guy and then explain how much worse he was than Biden any time he’s criticized.
