That overly squared off front end characteristic is a trait that all current (and soon to be current) mid-sized pick-ups have.  Ranger, check. Tacoma, check. Frontier, check.

I don’t believe Real ID and facial recognition are that strongly tied together. Real ID makes facial recognition easier, but when the standard/requirements were rolled out out, it wasn’t paired with facial recognition.
